pixel 7 pro

bogstandard android without asian bloatware, of course, its instead filled with the google ecosystem which is a +1 for me. little to no bugs, excellent battery life - ive spent 8 hours on public transport with this thing still showing signs of life.

the flagship features are nice but ultimately a waste for someone who needs a simple daily driver. its very likely ill go for their budget option pixel 9a or whatever is relevant at the time as there isn't any hardware differences beyond screen size and number of cameras. also my thumbs are too short for the far corners grrrr

generally speaking, nowadays the hardware and software on phones is super solid and you can get yourself a smartphone for as cheap as $199 and it will last you for half a decade. the mid-range market is saturated and its competitiveness makes it advantageous to the consumer who's looking for their bang-for-buck.

I am a fan of my Oukitel WP 19 i ordered from China online.
21000mah battery lasts a week.
Smartphone that is able to fulfill its purpose to stay charged, being able to call and use all the different online messangers without fear it will run out of juice during my walk outside (even if i went with only 10-20% charge out of home)
Comfortable to read books too.
And price is very affordable. 350 euro (+around 20% for trans border taxes at my country)
As a modern android it is compatible with everything and having rich ecosystem accordingly.

The only small downside that is a brick with a weight of half kilo at least.

Salut!

I am also one of the ruggerized team. I use a Doogee S96 PRO, 4 years old. But it holds like if it was brand new, has been under sea water, at -10Âșc, under snow, and I even "crushed" it with a 2.5 tones offroader ( my car, since in the advert they did it, and I was like "let's test it").

Solid brand, solid works, solid phone, and epic prices.

Motorola Moto G Power, cracked OS because my government spies on me enough, I don't need corporates doing it as well.

Galaxy S10 since release. Has survived many drops from as clumsy a holder as myself. The phone previous to it suffered accidental death by runover as well, when I was trying to use the flashlight to illuminate my mailbox at night in a snowstorm. Wonder how many phones go out like that yearly

iPhone 15 ProMax

redmagic 7
I bought it for it's specs even though i didnt game, contemplating of buying a rugged phone as well because of the battery, but the CPU is less than <50% of what i have now; unfortunately, I need at least 4K on geekbench because of some apps and heavy multitasking

Impressive variety, not gonna lie. Was expecting a lot more iPhones to be honest.

I'll toss mine in the mix. Pixel 9 Pro Fold. See a couple others using the Pixels too.
