Fallen Comrade - Zeltak - 07-23-2009 [font=Fixedsys]Personal entry, #11 [font=Palatino Linotype]"Baltimore Bar" Baltimore Bar, Liberty's answer to the Barrier Gate. This was the place the Reavers came to relax after one long day of cat and mouse game. Rumors has it that Comrade Violet had stumbled upon this place during one of her 'Cocktail Hours' going around spouting how good this bar is. Later it turned out the Boss decided to hit the joint and proclaim it as our place in Liberty. Hah! I'm quite surprised they haven't kicked me out yet, being a former Comrade of the Coalition doesn't exactly make you the most popular guy around here. At least they seem to serve something that you could call vodka, not like that two-credit Barrier Gate stuff, damn wussies mix it with water or something. "So anyways... I fly up really close to this Rogue chap right, you know so you could literally see each other from the other side of the cockpit? Heh, then I say: Listen, if you touch this trader, you ain't even gonna have something to carry home that cargo with. So the guy immediately shuts-up and runs with his tail behind his legs, hahahaha!" [color= #4B0082]"What a coward, hahahaha!" "Hah, You are one fearsome Comrade!" "Hey! I don't need your sarcasm Zarevo." "Hehe. Sigh..." "Hey, Boss. Don't worry about Comrade Violet, I'm sure she will come back. Maybe there are some family problems she need to take care off. Anyways, I always told you Comrade, that woman was too much for you to handle, haha!" "Maybe, maybe not..." "Ha...ha... da. Well enough of this depressive mood, Comrades lets drink!" "Haha, for women!" "For money!" [color= #4B0082]"And... for Lazuli being a rapist!" "Hey, Bloody hell!" "Hahaha!" Haha! I remember that time the four of us decided it would be a fun prank putting a bucket full of water above the classroom door, so when the teacher entered the bucket would land right on his head along with soaking him completely wet. Of course we weren't laughing afterwards when we received a three-hour long punishment in the form of repeatedly writing "The Coalition is not a prank" on the white-board. Funny how that turns out, seeing as I basically viewed the very principles of the Coalition to be, just a prank. Da, my Comrades, even though I left them I still miss their company. Their hearts were in the right place and their friendship was worth more than all the money in the galaxy. I won't lie, sometimes I still return to the time I entered my first log, that state of confusion I experienced. Sometimes... I regret my choice, sometimes... I don't. Regardless of what the conclusion will be of my choice, I feel unhappy, no... depressed, I feel depressed. The Reavers provided me with nothing but to disgrace my honor even more. I who had always despised the very idea to kill a human for money had now become one of them. A disgraceful dog of greed. Although some of the Mercenaries in that group offered me that friendship I long searched after, they would never achieve the admiration and respect I had for my old Comrades. Whatever happens to the Coalition, whatever fate it will receive, I hope that Comandante Ares along with all the other Comrades under his command will live a life where they can say to themselves, that they meant something. Oh how I wish I could say the same to myself but every shred of dignity left in me has been washed away, if not from all the cowardly choices I made in life... it would be for leaving my Comrades... Dasdvidanya Ares, Dieter, Yuri, Miroslav, Bjorn, Luis, Katya, Vasiliy, Viktor, Nickolai and of course Grand Admiral McIntosh. With all my heart, it was a pleasure to serve both under and over you. "Look into my eyes... focused, determined, hungry. Never shall I cease the hunt until the prey is captured. I'm the Red Wolf." He said quietly to himself. The last bullet was loaded... The last bullet was aimed... The last bullet was fired... [color=#000000]This log will be saved and stored somewhere in Liberty in hopes that my beloved mother will retrieve it and read the final thoughts of his son. |
