In regards to taxation, a definite NO.
The AW will not allow any taxation of traders or any ships anywhere in Theta. That is final and I will not negotiate on it.
Not only is it your home, but it was one of the major bases of the IND, and the mooring station of the Forrestal. They have more of a right to Corfu than you do, due to their long-term occupancy of the station.
The TBF may only fire on ships with permission for the AW. The TBF do not control the area of Corfu all by themselves. Again, the IND have a stake in that area, but the AW's laws and procedures have precedence over all of Theta, including the Corfu area.
You may only have the usage of Corfu with the restrictions stated previously. If you can't agree to them, than you get no stake in Corfu.

--You can use Corfu as your Base. You can defend yourselves if your are attacked.
--You can't attack, nor tax others, specially AW allies. If you have enemies, and they come after you, you can defend yourself.
--And, you must respect AW rules while in the system.
If you agree with the above terms, you are welcome to stay. If you don't, you can begin trading to buy your own system.

Alright then... The AW terms are acceptable for now...it will not be long now before we have the cash for a home system anyway. Can you tell me if either omega5 or omega 41 are actually owned by anyone...if I read the system thread correctly they are available yes? And I'm unsure of the proper channel to go through to make the request. If Korrd would be so kind as to direct me to the proper thread I would be grateful...

As pre-4.81 systems, they are NOT avalable... you need to get an empty system and mod it as you will.

Non-vanilla pre-4.81 systems aren't allowed either.. And I applaud the admins for thinking about letting systems back for owning. Restricting it is basically nocking factions off the map when they move to a guard system or empty. At least until there is reason for people to fix their rep just to enter the place..
