Five Commandments of the Order - Exsiled_one - 08-14-2009 Corsair version is pretty much the same. We had a Capship register law before, enforcing every player who wanted to make a corsair character with capital ship to write his biography and how he got the said capital ship. It was easier to control them and separate them from the lolwuters who don't even have a forum account. Shame huh? But here we go. 1. Don't mix your characters - I dont care about your zoner / order friends, when you're a corsair you are a corsair. Especially with guard id. You should be doing your work and not have zoners pass with deuterium to kappa without people of Crete getting their cut. 2. Don't cluster it. There's really no reason to have 6 legates in front of crete, 2 osiris and 12 order light carriers. It's like begging the BH bombers and capships to come. Outcasts as well. Those fights aren't so fun, especially because while I have to log to my bomber to fend off the moronvasion to loltown, about 25k of organs have passed and at least 10k of military vehicles. That could have been Corsair cash. 3. make difference between ooc and ic. (out of char, in char) - Talk in local chat. Use // if you want to challenge someone to a pvp duel. 4. Learn to fight with fighters. someone continue i have to print out some things. Five Commandments of the Order - Birdtalon - 08-14-2009 Order Also has a capship registery but unfortunitly Official Factions cant control capship distribution. Five Commandments of the Order - Exsiled_one - 08-14-2009 It's not that bad, i mean. at least they're all in the same place, doing the same thing. But yesterday while we were escorting order out of Gamma (because we have a right to ask them to move), I got wtfsplatt twice in a hull by a corsair cruiser. "cuz it was fun" doesn't cut it. We worked it out after few novas and snac, but still. If we tolerate your oorp, tolerate our rp and common sense. Also, please don't "moor" on the planet, because I'ld rather not click your legate, or undock on top of her, pushing me towards planet. Five Commandments of the Order - Gentle - 08-14-2009 Very positive steps Tenacity. Like it. Five Commandments of the Order - Athenian - 08-14-2009 ' Wrote:Order Also has a capship registery but unfortunitly Official Factions cant control capship distribution. Role-play allows effective control of anything related to your faction. Five Commandments of the Order - Exsiled_one - 08-14-2009 Any indie corsair with a capship willing to endorse our ideas for capship registry and nudging them for rp? Five Commandments of the Order - ... kur nubÄ—go? - 08-14-2009 Ech. Im a necromancer. THere was a thread, a proposition about admins givin bs's and other big cap ships to indies. Well it was denied as I remember becouse of admins have a lot work to do. Yes I understand. But why we cant give the cap ship aproval to indies for the primary faction leaders? like you want to get order carrier, go to ask for faction leaders aproval. If you get it, well leader informs admin, and admins do not need to read whoel stories and such. Yes regestry, but until the regestry anyhow the ships were easily purshable by anyone who wants em. I think the cap ships shouldn't be reachable in the open market. Yes anotheer radical idea. Uh and about the posted order rules. yes nice job, but. Well lets get to reality. Indies who really needs to know these things won't go to forums to read it. ANd people who are on forums I think understand that cap whorink in onother Geb isin't good already. So.. useless :| Five Commandments of the Order - n00bl3t - 08-14-2009 As a member of High Command currently, I can say that I have totally ignored IV and role-played it well enough. As for cap-whoring, if people demonstrated effective use and deployment and proper role-playing of characters onboard a capital ship more, instead of bringing out capital ships when it cannot be avoided it would be better. Five Commandments of the Order - Tenacity - 08-14-2009 Shame I'm not on the High Command board anymore, I hate having to rely on other people to get things done when I have problems with the faction. Five Commandments of the Order - Athenian - 08-14-2009 Nevermind your registry or demanding long and dull hack attempts at sci-fi - if someone, player or faction, can play a cap ship in game with some degree of competence, that should be enough. Leading by example is another. If someone is acting like a nub, you'll hear about it and you can deal with in game pretty easily using the time-honoured "carrot or stick" approach. |
