Clarification regarding re-engagement rule - Elsdragon - 09-08-2009 Simply put, people abused cruise. Go hunt around the crypts, you find Everything there, Like the Cruisers+ not attaking traders..... Clarification regarding re-engagement rule - Baltar - 09-09-2009 Ok ... the rules officially are becoming completely unintelligible. There's way too much room for micro-interpretations of even the simplest of rules. The rules are not meant for "specific" and "unusual" situations. They are (or should be) written as "general guidance." Clarification regarding re-engagement rule - DarthCloakedGuy - 09-09-2009 ' Wrote:Simply put, people abused cruise. How would that be abuse? Clarification regarding re-engagement rule - Exsiled_one - 09-09-2009 This thing needs no RP explanation as its a rule to help the situation be equal in PVP. Do you really think a BS should cruise up to catch the Titan that has been thrusting away from him. No, that's unfair and won't be happening here. If you really need those 1.5k's to pass, not in 5 seconds but in 3 seconds, then there's something very wrong with that fight from the start. I'll clarify: in this situation, both outcasts were flying Sabres, and both Corsairs flying Titans. No capital ships are involved. Personally, I think it should take several minutes for a capital ship cruise engine to start, but that's just me. |
