Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - schlurbi - 11-01-2009 Durr, I once gave him a Million in his Sabre. I didnt care about his VHF. I tried to ignore the Storta, thought about blowing it up a few times. But it was a Hacker not an Outcast. I did never really like him, yet I didnt feed him. Threw Kudos at him. I did always say that he is just an Idiot, yet no one ever listened. Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - Saronsen - 11-01-2009 I betcha my Juggernaut would beat his Spyglass no problem. And Jarek is like the oblivious butt of jokes now. Just let him be, and when the Admins have enough, he'll be taken care of. Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - casero - 11-01-2009 ' Wrote:I betcha my Juggernaut would beat his Spyglass no problem. A joke in a VHF could pass, a joke in a spyglass could ruin your day, and the day of a lot of people too. I'd not like to undock from planet manhattan, read a "engaging navy" and get killed by a spyglass. Also, I'd not like that happening the next hour. If he was never reported, it is because he was harmless, but he changed it. Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - Ash - 11-01-2009 I don't see why a spyglass can't go to NY. It's the hacker ZoI, their handy enough with software to hide it's engines and electrical telltales. The only problem is hiding it from sight which would (realisticly) be visible from a third of the system away. A debris field or the Badlands would suffice. Only other box to tick is open system chat that's clearly OORP. Then, my dear boy, you have a lulwut. As I'm the one ranting here:P It was in front of planet manhattan, you don't want a Liberty Dreadnought at Alcatraz or Buffalo. It's the same thing. It's not the same thing, but well.... you know my point... pirate bases are supposed unknown. Still, a Spyglass in front of manhattan should be vaporyzed in seconds, but... 190 players mean no NPCs. Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - TFinnegan - 11-01-2009 And THIS time it wasn't me! Although I have passed through New York in my 'glass, I certainly wouldn't park it in Manhattan orbit. Although I have to say..... Just because someone's flying a ship that they maybe shoudln't have, in a place it maybe shouldn't be... Doesn't mean there isn't some seriously decent RP and history behind it. Immediately discounting people's RP out of hand, without investigation, doesn't do anyone any good. Also... I'm guessing the real reason an enemy warship was parked in Manhattan orbit was the complete failure of the LNS, LSF, and LPI to patrol thier space. As attested to by the sheer number of pirates that oprate there. Even though a scant few traders even bother to go there, for the same reason. HOWEVER....ALL LOLWUTTERY MUST BE PUNISHED. DEATH BY BUNGEE!!! Oh, and it wasnt me! I swear! -Finn Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - Canadianguy - 11-01-2009 ' Wrote:A joke in a VHF could pass, a joke in a spyglass could ruin your day, and the day of a lot of people too. Still, let wait and see what the admins will decide to do. Hacker Spyglass in Manhattan? - reavengitair - 11-01-2009 send him a few warnings perchance?
