Autoaim - Exsiled_one - 11-03-2009 gotta see that now, never saw that... Autoaim - Mortum - 11-03-2009 I'd also like to know if it's a work around to disable it, it's rather annoying at times as it doesn't quite work if you have weapons with different range and speed. Autoaim - Guest - 11-03-2009 Here you go, explains easally. Thats why bombers are rather squirmy in asteroid fields when the snac sometimes locks onto passing rocks. Autoaim - Exsiled_one - 11-03-2009 how to achieve autoaim? I always shoot like on the last picture. Autoaim - Guest - 11-03-2009 ' Wrote:how to achieve autoaim? That IS the, so called, auto aim, see the guns pointing at the prediction marker rather than my cursor. Imaging you have a BS, you are fighting a BS, if there is a missile between you two, you wont be able to hit him, because your guns lock on said missile. Autoaim - Exsiled_one - 11-03-2009 But.. i think i said it wrong then... my guns always shoot where my damn cursor is. if i move it, the guns move as well. give me the dumbest tutorial ever if you can please. do i need to keep the aim on target for few seconds or something? Autoaim - Guest - 11-03-2009 ' Wrote:But.. i think i said it wrong then... Ofcourse the guns move as you move the cursor. Say, you have salamancas with their max range, if there is no target between you, the gun projectiles will touch at said max range. If there IS a target selected, they will all touch at the range your target is. Autoaim - Altaris - 11-03-2009 1st : Ask a friend to stand still 2st : Aim on red cross but dont shoot 3th : move you targeting about 3mm from red cross 4th : shoot Note: try to be from him 600 k Autoaim - Guest - 11-03-2009 Allright, look, the kraken range is 700(?) meters here you cans ee the projectiles cross at 700 meters without a target selected Here the target (rock) is at 300 meters, see the gun projectiles touch at 300 meters All the so called auto aim does is move your guns against one another to hit the target that is closer than the max range. Note the cursor changed. Autoaim - Stoat - 11-03-2009 Yeah, it's a damn pain when fighting in asteroid fields. Loads of shots end up hitting asteroids rather then the intended target. Gets bloody annoying. I'd love to see it turned off completely |
