Superiority Tower Top Security Sugery Room - Denelo - 05-31-2007

"Hmmm.... I thought something would go wrong while I'm away. How typical."

If Denelo's Brain had had lungs, it would have sighed.

"Well, this is annoying. Ah well... Thank you Dr. Vic. By the way, how is the clone growing going?"

OOC: Could you hurry this along? I need to be able to use this character sometime soon... and by the way, it's been a week now, so the clone-growing should be complete.

Vic smiled again. "I'm glad you asked!"

Not two seconds after that, a pair of doctors came in pushing a hover pad. There was a form under it, but a white sheet covered up specifics. However, once the pad was positioned on the tables' framework, Vic removed the sheet with a flourish. The body that was revealed looked like it had stepped out of a Greek statue. Coiled muscle under fair skin, a mop of thick black hair, and the face of a holo-vid star. This was the SiN|Tech trademark; perfection.

"Now, after the transplant we can perform any minor cosmetic changes you request. For now, however, it's time for you to get reacquainted with the flesh." And with that, the chemical solution that Denelo floated in changed and the patient slept.

Vic had claimed that Denelo would not remember a thing. Vic lied. It wasn't pain, or any real feeling, but he had dreams. Scraps of visions, watching the surgeons perform their bloody work over their shoulders, watching as masked doctors peered down at him in front of blinding lights, even stranger ones where Denelo could see a ghostly version of himself looking over his new form. At last, Denelo woke; into darkness.

"Vic?"

"Yes, sir. Right here. The operation was a success, and you should-"

"I can't see anything."

"Huh? Oh." Vic muttered something under his breath. "Hang on a second. I'll get that fixed for you."

Vic must have gone and gotten something, for then Denelo felt something about where his eyes should be. "This is going to feel a little weird."

And with that there was a strange tingling all over his body, but especially in Denelos' sinuses. It was almost to the point of pain, but instead was just uncomfortable. But then vision blossomed to life, and Denelo had to blink rapidly to adjust his eyes.

"Better?" Denelo could now see doctor Vic standing off to the side, two little tongs in his hands. "Someone forgot to jump-start your new prosthetic eyes. It's not dangerous or anything to you, just a little something we try and do while you're still out of it."

Denelo smiled.

"You know, it feels good being able to smile again. Odd, but good. Last time I was able to move my mouth was a month ago."

He sat up and looked around the room.

"Very good job. I feel like new! Well technically, I am. But anyways... The Retail Dept. mentioned something about training... Well, some training on how to use my new abilities and body would be very welcome. However, it may have to be cut off at any time, as I used the Neural Net to get some information, and I may be needed elsewhere at any given time."

He paused, picked up the transmitter sitting next to his hoverbed (which was still sitting on the frame in the indention).

"If you don't mind, I'd like to begin with the training as soon as I send this transmission. Of course, if that's a problem, just tell me."

He activated the Transmitter and began sending his transmission.

The training that followed was quite arderus. The eyes were easy, since Denelo had been training with those for a while. Learning how to operate the electrical conduits in his body was interesting, but once he got the hang of it he could fling lightning about the place and even tap into wires or streams of it if he was carefull. The metalic fingertips also lead to some interesting quirks, mainly in terms of intimidation and such. The flame-throwing organs on his hands worked quite well, although he always got the urge to heat lots and lots of hot peppers after using them for a long time. Vic said that, while not normal, it was perfectly fine. Just that one bit of genetic coding exerting itself in other aspects.

The 5 days it took passed by quickly. Much was simply a blur, but there were a few memorable moments. For example, the time when Denelo found out what happens when you over-pressurize your flame organs. It took a day to heal the burst arm fully and with no scar, which was a shorter amount of time then usual due to the increased motabilism, plus the hord of little nano-machines that SiN|Tech pumped into his veins. It help being in the top medical hospital in the known universe, as well. After that, Denelo had a rather bad craving for protein, which is why he consumed 3 medium rare steaks that night. Vic explained that the healing and nano-machines didn't take over the healing process, they just helped guide and acclerate it. Protein was the basic building block of any human, thus the need for it after an intense rebuild like that.

At last, it was time to head out. The guards escorted both Denelo and Vic out of the building and up to the roof, where Denelos' transport waited. "Good luck, Mr.Mori. If anything goes wrong, just let us know. We'll be sure to have it fixed in no time."

Vic smiled again, and bowed Denelo out to the waiting train.

"Thank you very much. Very good job. I will be sure that your payment is delivered as soon as possible."

He paused and happened glance down at a landing platform attached to a building below.

"What? It can't be..." He muttered. Then in a normal voice: "Please excuse me for a moment."

He leaped off the tower, activating his anti-grav boots and hovering down to the platform. There was a slight commotion, then he came back up.

"Tarlkor!" he yelled to the Train pilot as he climbed in, "Get down to that landing pad down there!"

Then to Dr. Vic and the guards: "Thank you again. Farewell!"

Then Train took off, then flew down to the platform below.

OOC: Thanks, story's over. I'll give you your 75 mil the first time I see you after I gather it.
