Kusari Blanket - silverleaf - 11-20-2009 Where can we find canon reference that gallia was among the ships? And I thought in the intro they clearly stated there were 5, one lost along the way (hispania)? Kusari Blanket - tansytansey - 11-20-2009 Discovery Canon is different to Freelancer Canon. There is a rumor on Malta which mentions there were more than 5 sleeper ships. We can only guess as to what they were. Hispania is the Outcast/Corsair sleeper ship. It's wreckage can be seen floating in Omicron Alpha. Kusari Blanket - Akura - 11-20-2009 Gallic isn't part of the Freelancer canon, it's Discovery. And they were 'betrayed' or summit. It's the French. Not surprised. Sleeper ships are all dead, and this subject is getting boring... Kusari Blanket - silverleaf - 11-20-2009 Ah allright, may I ask who writes discovery canon and wheres the refrence? Discoverywiki is kinda... lacking last I checked. Thanks Kusari Blanket - reavengitair - 11-20-2009 I've always had the impression that the discovery cannon ideas usually spawn from the community itself. References I believe there are many in-game, and places on this forum if you use the search button. Either way, I'm sure some other asians were brought in with the Kusari, although they may have died out or something by now. Could bring in more RP opportunities though. Kusari Blanket - kimiji - 11-20-2009 I was asking because i was planning on Kimiji being of Korean decent. Her family adopted a Japanese surname to better blend with the rest of Kusari society. If Korea was Coalition then it would have also been to escape the association with the faction. If, however, Korea was a part of Kusari anyway then that would not be necessary. Kusari Blanket - Akura - 11-20-2009 Oh and Igiss always has and always will write the Disco Canon. Being of Korean descent? Think about how many generations there are in over 800 years. It's possible a Korean family may have been on board, but there's no chance that without hideous inbreeding over that time to be a pure, or even half Korean. He'd be Kusarian, as Kusari is now a race. I'd assume the old earth ones are long dead... Kusari Blanket - Turkish - 11-20-2009 Regardless of genetics one could always hold onto their beliefs and ancestry, think 'I'm Scottish' in America. Kusari Blanket - kimiji - 11-20-2009 That is a good point Akura, and one that I thought of. Turkish is right though. And it would be about 24 generations I think. That's another reason I started this thread. I had no idea if there could have been a sizable Korean faction on the ship or if they had all been killed or if they had spontaneously turned into space-fairing merfolk who now fly between the stars feasting on the space-born protoplankton like the Greater Sea-lions of Northern Ujj. Kusari Blanket - Akura - 11-20-2009 To summarise, Korea flies red now, lets say they flew red then too. If there were any, lost in genetics. |
