Don't play your coy games with me. Your rebuttal has nothing to do with anything.

You entered Liberty space in a Dreadnaught class capital ship and actively participated in the destruction of Liberty Navy. Giving me snapy responses when you should be on your knees or at least providing us with some kind of sensible explanation, is not in your best interest.

"No explanation will be sensible, since the Hellbound happened to be on 'my side' during the encounter. Yes, I was wrong to break Zoner neutrality, but my morals and standing for what I believed in came before the 'Zoner way'. I would not stand by, and watch an entire Navy battlefleet destroy one vessel who, yes they understood the risks, but was not there for any conflict. Believe it or not, they were actually there fur just a friendly conversation. We spent more than an hour just discussing about our ships, what we do, and just enjoying ourselves. Even when the first Carrier arrived, the captain of that Maltese vessel just wanted to chat friendly with them too. But then came the second carrier. And then the Bombers. And then both Battlecruisers. And then the Dreadnaught. I was not going to stand by, and watch hundreds get slaughtered without even an option to flee. If there is no room in Liberty for mercy, then there was a reason for me to defend those who were not wrong." He crosses his arms, sighing.

"And as for being worried about being removed from the vessel? Tell me; How many Commanders are willing to pay millions a day to supply food, water, oxygen, entertainment items, sanitation, and all of the other things required so no one has to pay for their stay? Tell me that."

An array of weapons lay upon a table to the captain's left hand. Himself dressed in a steely suit of power armor, lacking more than a frontal look, one might assume it is black-ops or commando issue. A silvery indentation over the left chestplate of the armor of an eagle with a shield on it's chest, on each shoulder there is a single golden star with four stripes going up to the connecting joints of armor.

"Fellow Zoners, pardon the hostile appearance I must have. We were on a routine patrol when we encountered a Zoner vessel calling for assistance, and of all places, this assistance was in Omicron Iota. We're leaving the system now, one injured pilot in tow and the Broken-Hammer at full operational effect." Taking a deep breath he rests a metal-clad hand on the desk before him, looking down at a transcript of the past communications given.

"I see Saronsen once again puts himself in between a rock and a hard place. I must say, this is one that I do not approve of, but in my past of knowing the man, he's been one to take on the harder dealt and lingering situations we all would detest having. At times, yes the man may seem a bit hostile by nature, but as any man with a beating heart in his chest would know, we don't drift in space detached from others. No man is an island out here in Sirius, and I expect no less from him. His duty as a Zoner dictates he should have vacated the area, or merely left the conflict to play to it's own devices. As a man, I expect him to stand up for what that beating heart told him to stand up for, and for that I can find no fault."

Setting his other hand on the table, the ship visibly shudders on his side. "Ah, apologies to cut this message short, but we have a large number of contacts." He lifts a hand to the earpiece he wears, nodding once after a brief pause. "Saronsen, the man, should be dealt with in a more creative way that merely clipping his captain's wings. I for one insist he be put on humanitarian missions-" He looks back to a crewmember who opens the door to the comm deck. "-something else may be decreed and hopefully tougher than my outlook. I only hate to see a good man be shut down for doing what his feelings asked. Izii Helfari out." He turns from the transmitter link and marches out the door, his powered armor clanking each step of the way. "Man all battlestations, prepare for bombardment!" The link fizzles out and goes dark.

Mr. Cross, we are still the Council of Zoners, but considering the fact that not everyone knows our exact name by heart, I believe we can make the reasonable assumption that 'High Council' in this case means the Council of Zoners. The Alliance has no such Council, and would have been referred to if it were directed to them. I also say this to Mr. Holiday, who likewise was not designated, nor was the TAZ, or the Alliance, in this communication.

Furthermore, if this Juggernaut pilot were a registered member of the Zoner Alliance, I would defer the decision about their punishment to the Alliance, unless it showed it was taking no steps to stop the action. I expect the same kind of respect towards the Council of Zoners. As the accused party is a delegate of the Council of Zoners, the jurisdiction over this case resides in the Council, not the Alliance. If you disagree with that, than you must be perfectly okay with my censorship of members of the Alliance as well, hmm? I think it best if you stick to the issues that are yours, and leave our issues to us. The Paradise is the property of an individual owner, who is a Council delegate. As such, you have no authority to do anything to him unless either I allow it, the Council allows it, or the owner allows it or leaves the Council completely. I won't stand by while you try to take control of what is not yours.

Now to Sarnsen. I've been shown photos and have a log of the encounter in which you were accused of firing on Navy ships in assistance of the Outcasts, Lane Hackers, and Phantoms. Not only that, but inside the house of Liberty itself, which our Juggernauts should never enter in the first place. Now, you will not be losing your ship for this offense, like some of my more brash fellows says must be done.. However, you are henceforth on probation for the next four weeks. If I receive another complaint or accusation that has evidence against you, you will have your Juggernaut taken away. This is non-negotiable. I really don't care if you consider it your home or not, or if you are willing to give it up or not. If you don't give it up, we will simply take it back from you, with force if need be. If you don't want to lose it, don't participate in actions that will result in it being taken from you. If you wish to help the Outcasts again, I suggest you go join them, sans the Juggernaut.

Now for everyone else, this is not a trial, this is not a debate, or a flame throwing contest. I don't tolerate it. If you have complaints about my decision, state them, but I do not want to see any mud slinging about Saronsen here.

To my Alliance brethren, I'm currently submitting a proposal to the Council about a possible Security Council that would deal with these exact type of issues. This Council would include Alliance officials, if they agree. Then we may deal with any indiscretion committed by a Zoner regardless of which group they belong to, and come to a fair and just decision by discussing it and deciding upon it as a group.

More attempts by a corrupt ruler to impose her way onto others.

Ms Silvan, you can expect that the I will uphold Zoner laws and Zoner neutrality whether or not I am a member of the Council or Allliance.

You seem to think that because we aren't part of your little Council we aren't Zoners. Need I remind you that that is far from true?

To quote you: I won't stand by while you try to take control of what is not yours. Leave Alliance and non Council members alone. By your own decree you have no power over either. Might want to change the Council's policies. I am in no way speaking for the Alliance either. I speak for myself, a Zoner.

Well, Ms.Silvan does have a point that Saronsen is the Council's providence -- they deal with him first, granted the issue does concern everyone. The four week probation seems sound.

"Actually, as of now, I am the concern of the Zoners as a whole, not just the Council. Consider this my resignation from the Council of Zoners as a Delegate.

Saronsen, out."

Mr. Cross, I have left Alliance and non-Council Zoners alone, as you wish me to. In fact, it is just such kind of restraint that I am now asking of you. I have not interfered in the Alliance's business, and I would appreciate it if the Alliance were to also leave the Council's delegates alone. You are not above us, and as such, you must show the same restraint towards us that you ask me to, and that I have shown towards you.

Fine, I will show restraint in regards to Council members so long as their actions only affect the Council. I'd expect the same from Council members. In this case, Saronsen's actions affect all Zoners, so I and any Zoner for that matter, have an intrest here.

Your punishment was suitable, though with his past transgressions I would have liked something more. I am sure in time he will undo himself though.

I'd also like to inquire as to where you got the notion that the Alliance feels itself above the Council? It was you that intially refused to acknowledge us, showing that you thought yourself above us. Your words will not sway my feelings that you are corrupt and power hungry. I need only remind myself of how the SHIZL was dissolved or that you attempted to force a restructure on the Council and only backed off when a number of delegates voiced objection to it. Actions speak louder than words my dearl Silvan.
