That's skill, not 'overpowering'. Before you go waving the LETS BURN A WITCH THEY HAZ BETTER GEAR! stick, do some math. I believe the actual 'overpowered' ratio is like, 8% compared to the best Human tech. And besides, the Daam-K'Vosh -moved- planets and systems. Judging by how you say that IRP, the Nomads should be ganked, they should also have, IRP, better tech, no?
* Rp side. What man should talk with a nomad?.. Why it should have a reason for it? I specially believe, that no-one should rp with you, but only rp with other regular players just becouse of your presitance, like uniq rp conversations and co-operation between Hessians and Corsairs might be possible just becouse of nomads - thanks for that. (Well despite my corsair character who do not believes in wilde, and treats them as regular people).
Roleplay isn't the only thing on this server. Ever heard of fun or fairplay? Roleplay be damned. I'd rather have a fight or a talk with one single sensible person who Roleplays a nomad researcher or interested civilian or a gourmet chef looking for squid than a fleet of 1220190 osiris' and capitalships

Think about it in character from the character's point of view. You - the murderous alien - who is poorly understood, save for the fact it shoots to kill and has killed a great deal of people, is sat in my back yard. I do not feel the inclination to chat with you over the weather.
Added to the fact Nomad equates to 'state secret' (this is in Libertonian terms, seeing as that's where you lot mostly are) and you're either going to run away and pretend you never saw it (civilian), attempt to capture it for research (the Navy) or kill it as fast as possible (Order). You are not going to get fleshed out and in depth dialogue when there is no RP reason for you to get it.
Find someone who will realistically talk to/at you. That means Outcasts and the loonies that live on the fringes of civilisation. Pointing at the Shrine's inhabitants such as the Oracles (just an example - I know they're gone).
And I've run out of stuff to write now, so I'll leave it at that.

If you're looking for Fairplay in the Omicrons or Liberty, that's very silly. 'Nuff said. I try to avoid the places. It's not right, and it is a sorry state of affairs, so you kind of have my sympathy. But in the end of the day, you're choosing to fly there in characters that are eligible to be shot by anyone and their dog. It's a foregone conclusion that you'll get ganked there.

Not going to talk to the poorly understood space fish is a personal thing, Jammi. There's plenty of people who'd grow curious and try to communicate. I know I would. Sure, I'd be ready to crap my pants, but I'd still be curious enough to probe it for information.
It's all personal. Though, it's not so much the fact that the Nomads get shot at. I mean, duh, that's a given. But it's -how-.

Well, Dimonisher, if 'defending Humanity' is your primary reasons to exist, why are you not fighting a bloody front-line battle with the nomads in delta and minor constantly then? Why do we keep seeing Order| in places such as Omicron Alpha, Tau 37, Tohoku, Kusari, you name it.

Generally people that are entrenched in the Houses have had decades of social conditioning beaten into them, making them less curious. But again, you're totally right, it is down to the character.

Ok guys, calm down.
Let's all take a break from the omicrons ehh? I've been inactive around there for a loong time. I don't feel like coming back anytime soon.
A break from the Omicrons can be a refreshing new way to discovery discovery. Learn about other houses, their RP, their lore, come back to the omicrons later and teach people your wizzdomz.
I remember why I left the omicrons now.
P.S: Kusari is a good place to go in the space between this post and the time someone locks this
