LPI-Torro Trait, comprimised. - Death.RunningVerminator - 02-15-2010 Torro Trait began to speak in a trembling and panicked tone. "Not someone.. it was several. But, the most significant person that was involved in this.. is.. is.. I can't tell you! He'll find me! He'll get inside my mind! He'll torture me until i stained with blood!" Torro took a minute to catch his breath and calm down. "Alright.. I'll tell you. His former name was Death.Runner. I don't know what he goes by these days. He lives a life of solitude in the edge worlds.. scared I'm guessing.. And i tried to nuke manhattan because that's how i was raised. With one goal. Get rid of Manhattan so that everything.. becomes chaotic. I don't know why. But, that's that." Then he says, solemnly: "I hope you've redeemed yourself, Torro." He points behind Torro, and the living man turns involuntarily. There is a portal of darkness. As Torro stepped closer, he saw the first few steps of a descending stairway. He looked back. Vincent stood there with his arms crossed. Torro took the first few steps, and... ~ ~ ~ ~
Matt Myers was pulling an all-nighter, papers stacked up on his desk like the leaning tower of... something. Not important. The lights dimmed a moment, and a vague shape was suddenly in front of him. "GEEZUS! Why do you always do that?" the Chief bellowed, nearly falling back in his chair. "Death Runner made Torro do it." "And? What happened to him?" There was a moment of silence. "He's where he belongs." The shape of darkness turned around and walked through the door. Myers regarded the door for a moment, then buzzed to his secretary. "Hamilton, get me Detective Quinn in here ASAP -- I don't care of he's asleep -- and pull all the files we have on some guy named 'Death Runner'." When he looked down, he had been stabbed by a blade that appeared to come from no where. Everything around him was pitch black, even the door was gone. All he could see was the blade, himself, and surprisingly, a white figure, that seemed to be a shadow, free-falling down beside the stairs for miles. As the white shadow faded away, Torro began to stumble. The blade was still stuck in his chest for several minutes until inally, he pulled it out of his chest, and he began to fade away into the dark abyss. Clutching his wound, he stumbled down the staircase, and stumbled, and stumbled, then, rolled. Soon enough, he could see the other bodies. The rotted and rotting bodies of the dead. Torro Trait was about to scream in horror, but something stopped him. He looked down at himself once more, the wound no longer was there. But then again, neither was he. He shook his head, and made sure he was real this time. When he got up, he looked out the window hoping to understand where he was. Everything was still a blur, so he sat back down and waited several minutes while rubbing his eyes. When he got back up to look outside, he noticed a tropical scenario. There were trees, strange plants, and other buildings in the distance. Too get a better look at where he was, he decided to head outside. But when he opened the door, he found a man with a gun, facing directly at him. The man pointed the gun towards the room, and Torro Trait backed up, hoping to wake up from this nightmare... He was blindfolded, pushed and shoved till he fell on a metal floor. The guards took off his blindfold and left immediately. Torro Trait looked up to see his old master. Trait's eye's widened with disbelief, then he smiled, stood, and bowed at the man in front of him. "Master Death Runner, It has been so long.. I don't remember a thing! I.. I remember I fai-" "Yes. You did fail." The old man in the wheel chair was smoking a cigar, tapping it against his chair every minute or so. Torro Trait frowned and looked to the floor, remembering how he could not accomplish his mission. "But... There is hope for you yet." "There is?! How?! What must i do to please you, master?!" Death Runner smiled his evil grin he smiles when things are going his way. He swerved his chair to the right and wheeled forward. Trait followed. After walking and wheeling down a long corridor, Death Runner stopped at a door to the left and opened it calmly. He wheeled inside, and motioned for Torro Trait to stand in the center of the room. Torro smiled and nodded. He proceeded to the center, happy to serve his master once again. The old man went to a corner of the room where there was a control panel. He pressed a button, and a glass-like cylinder from beneath the center of the the room went upwards. Death Runner waved at Torro Trait and smiled. The cylinder enclosed the victim, and smoke soon filled the container. "Alright. Get in here." A door to the side of the room opened, and several scientists in lab coats rushed inside. They went to the control panel, cylinder, and began pulling machines off the walls. While the workers worked, Death Runner continued to smoke, smiling at his schemes. Sir.. *coughs*" Death Runner looks up and blinks. "Yes? What is it?" The scientists looked at the now opening Cylinder, partially revealing Torro Trait through the escaping smoke. The old man smiled, and wheeled over to face Trait, though several feet away just in case something went wrong. After a minute of everyone staring, the smoke finally cleared up, revealing the new man. Torro Trait was naked, bald, and had cuts and gashes all throughout. He had no eyes either, or if he did, they were as black as if he didn't. Besides from the loss of hair, no eyes, and gashes throughout, he looked normal. "Show me what can it do." One of the scientists smiled and nodded. After the scientist messed with the control panel for a bit, Torro Trait's eyes became white. The same smoke the enclosed on him before was pouring out of his eye sockets. The smoke did not act like a normal gas, rather a living thing. It flew upwards, still floating out of Torro's skull. The smoke went towards one of the scientists and quickly encircled the scared man. It went closer and closer to the doomed scientists, and then with great power and haste, flew inside him. The scientist screamed, then stopped. He wobbled into a desk, then collapsed on the floor. His eyes were the same as Torro Trait's, and the smoke exited back to it's owner. "Excellent.. But.. What about the cuts? Show me that." The scientist nodded and tinkered with the control panel once more. Trait continued to remain in the same location, but his body was not still. His insides were moving around as the new technology readied itself, showing waves of skin and abnormal motions coming from his torso. The cuts opened, and slowly, spinning knives began to appear out of every single scratch. The knife holder was connected to his body, but the spinning blades were not. They flew out of their holdings from his body and soared through the air. They pierced one of the scientists, everywhere. He soon collapsed to the floor, blood pouring out of him. "Hahahaha! I like it! I really do! Gentlemen, you've outdone yourselves.. Hehehe.. But tell me, why do you use the panel for him? We all know he has no soul, and he adored me already. His spirit is broken, he's ours. So shut that thing off and save it for the real deal.. This one was just a prototype.." The scientists seemed confused. Several turned towards each other and whispered. The head scientist approached Death Runner. "The uh.. Real deal, sir?.." The old man smiled. "The two blood dragons we encountered several weeks ago... Hehehe." "Sir.. I believe they have to be alive.. And.. They're.. They're too strong.. They'll resist the treatment when activated." "They're alive. Barely. And I've got some tricks up my sleeve to crush their consciousness.. Don't worry." LPI-Torro Trait, comprimised. - Death.RunningVerminator - 10-14-2010 Death Runner waited for the smoke to clear up so he could see the "real deal." When the smoke was gone, the face of both Hirosho Horatami and Lu Bu were clearly seen, sharing a head. On one side of the face, the eye was green, on the other, the eye was blue, and in the middle there was scarring down the face. The figure blinked and stepped out of the cylinder. It looked around, then at itself, as if confused. Everyone in the room was staring, waiting to see what would happen. It then began to approach the old man in the wheel chair. Death Runner was smoking his typical cigar while watching his creation. The thing then stopped within a foot of range from Death Runner, and bowed. "I live to serve, sensai." Death Runner smiled, and nodded at him. While the thing rose from it's bow, it fell backwards a step. Again, everyone in the room stared, cautiously. The thing stood properly once more, then fell to the ground. It yelled out in pain, then put his hands hands to his face. When he looked up at the people in the room, his eyes were white. "Damnit! Get him under control! NOW!" It stood and frantically began to wreck havoc in the room while still holding it's face in pain. After several failed attempts to contain the creation, it stopped and looked up at everyone in the room. It now had a third eye on it's forehead, and was white like the others. It looked and Death Runner angrily, and began to stride towards him. The old man smirked, and pressed a button on his wheelchair. In an instant, the prototype burst through the door and ran towards it's rival creation. Torro Trait lunged at him, knocking it to the ground before successfully attacking Death Runner. The prototype jumped onto the fallen rival, and released it's knives, pinning the creation-gone-haywire to the ground. Scientists then proceeded to confining it. Torro Trait approached Death Runner and bowed, then left. The scientist heading the operation turned towards the old man. "It appears that for a while he will be stable, but upon seeing you face to face, i believe the original dragons remembered you.. Thus setting them into rage.. And when this happens, the smoke takes over completely. But don't worry. He'll be ready for his mission soon enough, i assure you." "The third eye?" "Ah.. Well, That's going to stay there.. I suppose we'll have to cover that." "I meant how did that get there.." "The smoke wanted to have it's own eye i suppose.. We'll look into that, sir." "Very well. Just as long as this doesn't happen again. I want it on neatral state AT ALL TIMES.. Until i say so, at least." |
