While it has been awhile, there used to be a group of people that did pretty much what your suggesting.

Leiden base was created by Ageira executives who joined with the Lane Hackers, hence its ultimately secret and shadowy location.

Hooray for the almighty move. I thought this was deleted. Anyway,
To the Lane Security folks, I remember seeing them in-game. They were Lane Security. Escorts/Hired Guns, essentially. I bring Deed of Paksennarion to example again. This is a contract-based, small-scale army.
If anybody is interested in getting this faction off the ground, send me a PM. Liberty is just chalked full of Fun and excitement.

I sent you a PM and I'm interested in this, as I've just taken back Ageira I'm in the process of expanding it. Both this and the former group known as Lane Security have my interest and in terms of a Paramilitary Army, Ageira is probably the only company that could pull this off. Being the type of Company it is on top of the fact that they have a monopoly on Gate Lanes and are a huge technology producer.

Well wake me up and tell me I haven't found another old discussion idea developed by someone who thought of it themselves too. I have a significant amount of data for you in terms of ideas and other things but I have about a years head start in terms of planning things and stuff, Unfortunately due to a rare genetic disease that I have, combined with a lappy that hated me, I have had to wait. but if your interested in advice and assistance let me know. i think this idea is pretty ok, to compare with real life there was scandal in my country few weeks ago when public found out that electricity production company had team of military trained personell who actively searched for people who didnt pay for electricity and "terminated their powerline connections".
