Corsairs. They're fighting for food. They're not a galactic drug empire, just starving folk with noplace else to turn.
Bundschuh and Blood Dragons are cool too, due to fighting for rights, but they seem to be becoming common thieves nowadays. Golden Chrysanthemums are sexist she-wolves that need to shave their legs.;)
