RP Cargo - Sprolf - 12-29-2009 Go Malexa! RP Cargo - Markus_Janus - 12-29-2009 I personally don't carry any. I also don't judge others by wether they carry any or not. It can be quite difficult for some to make the journey to find all the ingrediants they need to fill there hold properly. RP Cargo - Asbestos - 12-29-2009 I only carry RP cargo on my Liner and Explorer, maybe GMG pilots on my GMG ships (if I find some from someone else's wreck...), otherwise not so much. I even carry MOX on the Liner to simulate fuel consumption and I try to convince small-timers to bring me some more fuel and other cargo while I'm out cruising Sirius. Heck, I even got some old 1.000.000 credit cards on it. I generally only carry RP cargo on ships that I don't expect to be blown up. Not too often at least;) RP Cargo - Corsair - 12-29-2009 When you scan someone's hold, I get the idea you scan their entire ship. My Luxury Liner had 2 units of Cardamine, and I roleplayed that as passengers that had smuggled it on board my ship. My AI cruiser carries all of that 'essential' stuff, because the scanners see it in my cafeteria, bar, and spare fuel tanks. I think RP cargo enhanced the experience, but is not a must. Sometimes the base you spawn in doesn't have everything you need. RP Cargo - Sprolf - 12-29-2009 Everything your ship carries is in your hold? I think not. Need an example? You carry guests on board a liner. Are they in the cargohold or are they elsewhere on the ship? You put armour in a ship. Do the panels and struts only take up space in your cargobay, or is the entirety of the vessel reinforced? Same goes for everything else. It's not cargohold space - a good deal of it is, on some ships - it's total space within the vessel. RP Cargo - Barrier - 12-29-2009 Yes. All kinds of stuff. Ilya, for example, never flies around without an assortment of teas (Water) and some good books (Consumer Goods), and that's not counting all the important stuff (spare H-Fuel, Oxygen, Water, Food, even a blaster). My trade ships have a replacement Cryocube, because no one wants to be sweating in case the one that's installed goes bad. RP Cargo - William Frederick Cody - 12-29-2009 ' Wrote:Do you do it? If not, why? Month ago I asked the same. Result: 60% Powertraders...:P RP Cargo - Elsdragon - 12-29-2009 WHich is why I refuse to carry any. I find it adorable when they call me a power trader. RP Cargo - Harcourt.Fenton.Mudd - 12-29-2009 I carry RP cargo on my caps (which there is only one of currently) and thats it. It also serves as a moderating influence for combat situations, since having to replace all that stuff is a REAL pain. RP Cargo - Magoo! - 12-29-2009 Situational. Some of mine have RP cargo, some don't. P.S. To all the, "Y UR CROO IN UR CARGOZ?!" I say, "Who the deuce is going to transport crew for at most a $200 credit profit?" That's what they're for. |
