Aboard the Necrosis - PSI-Borg - 11-05-2007 Master I have been spending time re-optimizing my combat subroutines. My performance has been somewhat discouraging of late. The unpredictability of my opponent human pilots seems to add to their skill. Attempting to compensate, with chaos theory algorithms. I am almost ready to continue disinfection in the system of your choice. Please advise. Aboard the Necrosis - me_b_kevin - 11-05-2007 You fail because you attack the strongest link in the chain my digital hombre. Our success comes from striking where and when they are weakest. This is where you should concentrate your efforts. The defenseless and weak are our targets. Kill the people they strive to protect. That being said, if you think you can win a fight by all means do so but don't bite off more than you can chew...that would just be guttonous..HAHAHAHAHAHA Aboard the Necrosis - PSI-Borg - 11-06-2007 Master Tonight I engaged LSF forces, and others, in California, in an attempt to determine if my combat subroutines are optimized. I had some success against one assault fighter who was in the small fleet attacking me, but I was overwhelmed. My Eagle was eventually destroyed by LSF Joolean. I willl download to another fighter, then fly that to the Necrosis. If I were capable of emotion, I would likely be flattered at the amount of attention I recieved. Several ships including fighters, capital ships and even a trader, engaged me. Your reputation seems to have a way of bringing out the worst in the humans. I have learned more about the flight characteristics of the Eagle, and my opponents ships. More success will follow. Aboard the Necrosis - me_b_kevin - 11-09-2007 i have a devious plan brewing Psi-Borg. Imagine hundreds of alien soldiers being dropped onto a heavily populated planet deep in the house systems. i tingle all over just thinking about it. therefore I am going to travel to the outer rim and "visit" the nomads. They will be unwilling to come of course, but i can be quite persuasive. see you soon HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... Aboard the Necrosis - me_b_kevin - 11-28-2007 *standing on the bridge on the Necrosis, Mon'Star leans forward putting both hands on the command console. his head drops down and he begins to stare blankly. after a few moments he falls to one knee and that familiar smile spreads across his face as he stands back to his feet* PSI-Borg, i've decided to do a bit of reprogramming to you my little digital amigo. There were a few remnants of your old programming still floating about in there. They seem to be what has been prohibiting you from servering me completely. Now that i have thoroughly cleansed you of your artifical conscious, i expect great things from you. Soon the blood letting will reach a whole new high. OoOoOoOooo! look at that...i've got goose bumps just thinking about it. HAHAAAAHAHAHA!!! Aboard the Necrosis - PSI-Borg - 11-30-2007 Master Your reprogramming has succeeded. I am not inhibited while disinfecting the humans. My combat performance has improved greatly. In the California system during my most recent mission, I was able to easily dispatch many police vessels, and the corporate convoys they were defending. Of course, I destroyed their escape pods. Unlike you, I only feel obligated to disinfect the humans and those that defend them, not torture them. A mercenary, call sign "RedWolf" tried to stop me. I was able to defeat him easily. My Eagle was only slightly damaged, and I am having the repair droids on the Necrosis correct that now. I look forward to more success. It now pleases me greatly to disinfect. Aboard the Necrosis - PSI-Borg - 01-03-2008 The Necrosis was closing on a trader vessel, in the Omicron Gamma system. The poor devil was in a container transport and did not stand a chance against the Outcast Destroyer. Mon'star, of course, was laughing in psychotic glee at the prospect of the kill. There was a load of VIP's on the trader, and a lot of death was about to happen. A cool voice spoke over the Necrosis intercom. "Master, please note the long range scanner. Two Corsair Gunboats inbound." "Blast! This one will get away! Was looking forward to the headlines for this kill. Rockstars, politicians and scientists, oh my! PSI, combat subroutine Omega. You want helm, or control of the guns?" "Guns, Master. You steer better than you shoot." "Fair enough, PSI. We don't all have nanosecond response times." "Yes Master. Please kill the engines once we clear the asteroids, then turn the ship about so I may destroy the gunboats while coasting." "You got it, PSI. But I want control of the heavy guns." "Yes Master, and I'll take turrets. I suppose that is because you want the satisfaction of the kill?" "AH HAHAHA! You know me well, PSI." The Necrosis cleared the asteroids and the Gunboats were coming into range. Once the lead gunboat was in range, Mon'star began pounding it with Infernos, lowering the shields. PSI-Borg had yet to fire, even though the turrets were in range. "PSI, what the hell are you waiting for? Fire!! This fight is not one-sided enough for you to twiddle your digital thumbs!" A pause, then a response. "Master, cease fire on the lead gunboat. I am evaluating the software defenses of the gunboat mainframe. The firewall is obsolete. There is a much better alternative to destroying it." "I like where you are going with this, PSI, but be very quick." "Master, I'll be right back." The lead gunboat lurched sideways, then began to drift out of control while an invisible digital duel ensued in the mind of the ship. There was really no contest, just some delay while PSI-Borg asserted control of the ship systems. Once the vessel righted itself, all the airlocks on the ship opened, and a very surprised and terrified Corsair crew found themselves in space. They had barely enough time to wonder what had happened, when they expired in the void. Two crewmen were unceremoniously vaporised by crossfire coming from the second gunboat. A smug digital voice, in system comms: "Master, I believe we have a new addition to the fleet." The now crewless gunboat turned its guns on the second gunboat. Between the Outcast Destroyer and PSI-Borg's new toy, there was no hope for the remaining corsairs. They fired up their cruise engines, but did not even get up to speed before a Light Mortar blast from the Necrosis blew them to shreds. The two vessels paused in space while PSI-Borg evaluated the status of the new ship. "Master, damage is light. Only minor repairs are required. We now have a perfectly servicable Corsair Gunboat." Mon'star hadn't been so happy since he'd destroyed that convoy of Bretonian refugees in April. His laughter was quite deafening. "PSI, my pet, things just got a lot harder for the peace-loving peoples of Sirius!" Aboard the Necrosis - PSI-Borg - 01-15-2008 Master, I am reporting from an undisclosed mainframe in the New York system. I shall make my way back to the Necrosis on an unsusspecting trader Nav computer. I attempted to <<<Static>>>> a disinfection mission worthy of your name. I was destroying various ships, mostly police, at the Colorado Jumphole in New <<<Static>>>> mostly allowing the pilots to die in space. I killed a very large number of humans. It was very satisfying. I was returning to the Necrosis with some pilots for your "amusement". I was attempting to take a evasive route through New York, but I was intercepted by a Bounty Hunter Destroyer, and a few smaller mercenary ships. I evaded them for a while, but they eventually caught up to <<<Static>>>> disrupting my cruise engines continuosly. I almost destroyed one of the mercenarys, who was flying a bomber, but my ship succummbed to the weapons of the destroyer. Had I been accompanied by the Necrosis, <<<Static>>>> defeated these organic scum. I will aquire a new vessel as soon as possible. Aboard the Necrosis - me_b_kevin - 01-15-2008 The mission sounds like it was a success Borgy. One ship lost on our side compared to the multitude on their's just makes for good statistics HAHAHAHAHA!! The repairs and upgrades on the Necrosis are nearly complete. The months of extensive and non stop destruction have taken a toll on the old bird. Soon a new path of desolation will begin, one much more glorious than the first HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Aboard the Necrosis - PSI-Borg - 01-26-2008 Master, I have been very busy this evening. I also received assistance from a group of organics called "Phantoms" They appear to hate other organics as much as we do. We disinfected many, many parts of Sirius. With their assistance, I killed many traders, police, mercenaries, bounty hunters, etc. My hold was filled with bloody corpses. I will continue to use their assistance, until such time as the Necrosis is ready for action again. They may be useful to us. Perhaps we should disinfect them last. |
