Didn't we discuss this in PM?
People will give you various setups based on their skills. I don't think anyone here would say their setup is the best setup ever.
they'll say its best for them. Please try them out, and the fact still remains - cap 8 saves your ass more than any weapon loadout.
It would be better if you asked what shield do they use so tehy can tell you they don't use the best one but the one below that.

True indeed. Cap VII or VIII saves lives... or at least gives you enough time to kill the transport before the escort or backup kills you.

I'm taking on liners with 5 pulse and 4 Charons.
The trick is, of course, an edge up in the EMP weaponry, which keeps them from properly retaliating.
