its really a shame... i mean, i want to RP and not play PVP all the time... and that was just absolutely minimalistic.
and sorry... but i think in a RP everyone gets to say at least something.... i didnt even have the time to type something bevore being destroyed ( i was half dead after fighting 6 bounty hunter AI destroyers)

ahem... okkkkkk... so thats why you flew to me (the first bounty hunter i saw was 12 k away... then, 1 minute later, you and your group closed in on me and surrounded me)... even if i WANTED to turn my guns on you, i dont have a single gun that can damage you at 12 k distance... and this was something planned, not something that just happened. and you know, it would really be nice to involve the target into RP bevore shooting its few health points left after battling with destroyers in an asteroid field.... i am here to RP, not to be the target of some weird complex you got when you were young (unless thats what happened to your char...)

If a rule was violated, make a report, otherwise move on. Imagine what would happen if I made a topic every time I died.

i dont care about dieing. i dont care about loss of money or rep. - i got enough of that. but i want a proper RP bevore the shooting starts, and i think this is something i can demand on a RP server. if i just want to shoot a bit, i play the AI. simple as that.

From my point of view they acted incredibly wrong.Even if you have an battleship this doesn't make you an good PVP-er so you choose to RP.Next time stick to a group.You have more fun and you will be on the victorious side. :)

I don't see why do some people consider some things in bad taste.
If you meet two or three enemies of yours while you're alone, there's a big chance things will go down badly fast.
I was amazed at the similar scene week ago when two lane hackers attacked my bounty hunter without any issue but then when they turned out to be outnumbered by few, there was a complaint.
Sadly, enemies in life or in sports won't waste too many words on you. It's not kusari;)

The roleplay was poor, but not rulebreaking, however your reaction following this was. If you think a rule was broken then file a report, if you think it was unfair PM the guy...
Saying "there is a group of bounty hunters violation RP rules" over system chat is against the rules (OOC chat) "wtf" could be classified as swearing - as abbreviations and intent are; and "you violate RP rules" is rules lawyering, especially when in fact you're incorrect. You've spent enough time on the server to acquire a capital ship, that should be enough to learn the proper etiquette and rules. Afraid that this time, you're more in the wrong.
Oh, and if you want RP my best advice would be to stay out of areas like gamma and NY. Except you've got a legate, which means you can't really leave Gamma, so my advice would be to sell it and get a smaller ship.

i mean, i was on a mission... it really doesnt take einstein to say somethign like "supporting allied forces" or something like that... but simply shouting "engaging!" - seriously, a 15 year old boy could do seriously better than that.

and yes, i am seriously pissed off if i meet people wo are not interested in RP in the first place and use a really poor excuse of a RP to engage in players vs player.

i find this rather fascinating... there are really many people here who are telling me what i CANT do and SHOULD do, but really usable tips dont come.
i remember my first posts when everyone said this game is about RP and i should roleplay and not concentrate on my job (mining, trading, fighting) too much. well, now i worked my way up and i have a new battleship with which i want to roleplay... only to discover no one really gives a **** about roleplay but only about pvp. roleplay seems to be the short prelude to open fire, opening fire isnt the result of roleplay.
ah, and to you battleship haters out there (who even contacted me, i mean seriously!) - do you really think i would buy a battleship if i was interested in playing pvp? i would stick with a gunboat, a bomber or a fighter - hell, there is really no way a battlesip is any good in PvP in this game. i just like big things. i like all the flashy lights when shooting 18 BS turrets. I like the "wow" effect. why on earth is all i meet attacks by other players? many here have serious problems.

While it was not the greatest engagement notice I've ever seen, the group did happen to see you as a bountied player (Blanket Bounties FTW) and decided to womp on you for a bit.
just as an aside; you in your bright shiny battleboat, what were the BHG in? and where were you? just to satisfy my curiosity.
