They wont sanction useless reports... they DO have better things to do then finding out why anyone reported it... make sure your report is complete and with additional comments so they wont have too much questions left...

F_Wolf, the reasons most of your reports aren't acted upon is because they are for the most part. baseless, or do not show for a fact that someone broke the rule your accusing them of.

There's always Connecticut. Every time I fly in, within five minutes someone else shows up. A few days ago we had 6 pilots from all over Sirius in a huge frag-fest. We must have spent well over two hours killing eachother over and over-- no teams/rulesmitations whatsoever. It was the most fun I've had in a while.

I think this jump to Cap ship and come kill the pirate thing is because the moment something bad happens in RP they seem to jump out of character, and act as if you have personally attacked them and thus they want revenge.

Another solution would be a mod that made it so someone switching chars would have to wait 10s before thier character joined. giving the pirate time to move, and if they are in an ice field 10s and cruise speed, you wont be able to see them anymore, then al they ahve to do is find a nice little jump hole

there allready is such a thing, its 20seconds

Not exactly correct, Exile.

FLhook only holds you 20 seconds if you are in space. If you've docked, the transfer to another character is instantaneous.

' Wrote:I dont agree F Wolf, this is RP and PVP is overrunning the server cus of n00bs/people that dont give a frak about RP and just wanna kill something.. there the ones that need a switch in server/mod/game not the ones who a really putting an effort into it to make a valid RP story about and with their chars. I have linked my first 5 chars together with a relativly long story and i do refer to one and another... since the can speak with eachother. But i wont dock in trader and undock in any other than trader... only option to do that is when you and your pirate agreed on doing that (seems highly unlikely but still...)

Everyone who just wants to kill someone .. we DO have a PVP server... go and play there with some friends to shoot eachother...

But theres nobody in the PvP server, and sometimes only two people, who can be in systems far away from each other. PvP is player vs player and if theres not enough players, then its not PvP. What happens with these noobs is that they go where most people are. That is why theres are those pwzors in the server.

My reports are not useless. All of them includes screenshots. Half of them results in admin notices. And there are situations that I dont report, like for example a battle against the corsairs in Omega 49, where there were constant ramming and I dont took any screenshot of that. So, you can multiply by four the admin notices that you see everyday, to get an idea where the pwzor thing is going. Thats the reason why I said to forget RP. Also the idea of what RP is varies from player to player, so the pwzor can simply use a mercenary ID to protect his trader and just switch ships, and say later that this is RP.

I'm of the opinion that you can be an RP-snob and a PVP-whore simultaneously.

Roleplay a violent person in a violent faction. Easy, problem solved.

Exactly. Hence why we have the SCRA and such.

And every other faction that is labelled hostile by the military and police in general, too.

Corsairs get plenty RP along with PvP, so do other pirates. Just as it should be. For the most part.
