New Dabadoru - Varok - 03-10-2010 It is cool. I like the first one more than the 2nd one. New Dabadoru - Dashiell - 03-10-2010 I like the first one better as well. Also, I'm all for making Dabadoru an epic Fortress of Death And Destruction (with rotary washinglines) It's the Core's forward base. The main warfleet is stationed there. It has always struck me as odd that the frontline station which houses a massive amount of (rather large) ships was so... puny. Yes, it is supposed to be secret. But the Order does not consist of brainless dolts. I think that they by now know perfectly well that something fishy is going on in that cloud in Delta. So, following rp, I suggest the following: the current model is Dabadoru in its 'build up' face. small enough to be concealed for some time at least. Untill the Core achieved a firm footing in Delta with enough security around to warrant a more elaborate expantion of Daba. Here Honky's mode comes into play. Dabadoru is upgraded/finished to its endform: a heavily defended frontline fortress designed to maintain a warfleet and keep enemy fleets (who, in rp, now know perfectly well that there is a base in the palau cloud) at bay. Maybe change the name to 'Dabadoru Fortress' to emphasise its new role. New Dabadoru - Tommeh - 03-10-2010 I like the first model more. I completely agree that Daba needs to be stronger. With Core RP about Nomad tech it would be logical that they have strong base close to Nomad worlds capable of supplying bigger numbers of vessels which are needed in war against Order. I would like to see Daba bigger. New Dabadoru - Blaze - 03-10-2010 Instead of putting more weapon platforms put some static cruiser or battlecruiser weapon platforms. Like the Osirises in Omicron-100 New Dabadoru - akka1000 - 03-10-2010 Of the two options, I prefer the first one, although it sill seems a bit thin and weak looking in parts. Also, weapons platforms are kinda useless against anything more than 2 LF's. A few stationary dessy's, battlecruisers or a mako would be more useful. I do like Dash's idea of renaming it Dabadoru Fortress, if it does end up looking big and tough. New Dabadoru - n00bl3t - 03-10-2010 ' Wrote:Looks nice, though I do hope the Weapons Platforms aren't arranged like Livadia. If Dab had his way, the world's nekomimi population would just have been nerfed by 50% just now. New Dabadoru - Montezuma/Kukulcan - 03-10-2010 I love the idea of Dabadoru being bigger and meaner, as it should be, though i think that considering its location, it would be best made looking something like Kodiak base in Alaska, as in, built in and around the asteroids of the field its self. Other than that, im all in favour of a fortress like base, would suit the Core RP much better than a tiny little outpost. New Dabadoru - Sprolf - 03-10-2010 Like I said, make it a superfortress, like an icy Leniex. I play Order, and I woudln't mind that at all - it makes perfect sense in RP. (Even some stationary Threshers or Bullheads wouldn't be far amiss. We've the Isis.) New Dabadoru - Linkus - 03-10-2010 Attach an ice asteroid onto it, with a shipyard attached to that. Also try this: | Main module | | -------------- | | -------------- | With the | being other modules etc. Essentially give it a good design, not just sprawling. Basically, just try new things, make it look good. Anyone can attach a module and a drydock to a station, it's how they are attached that makes the difference between a good station and a bad one. Trust me, people can be picky:P New Dabadoru - Garuda - 03-11-2010 Bigger now. 5 Kusari Dessie(Forget to take screens, and I know you say BHG Dessies but my skill with the programm is not really high) 10 Weapons Platform removed 2 Small Shipyard 1 Big Shipyard and a Ice Base? This asteroid field have no big stones inside. |
