I hate to be the rain on this parade but I think you should take your talents to other places where ships are less commonly used. If everyone is always changing the top notch ships with new models then we will have a whole bunch of other ships no one will used and then what? The only thing I'd like to see is a new model for perhaps a new civvy fighter?

Thats what I thought the first time I saw it.
Also I think the Devs are more concerned about replacing the imported models.
The fact that these are duplicated models though might be an exception.

I'd like to see your Scimitar textured. It could be just what I'm looking for to represent the Shamshir for Mirage.
If only for forum RP.
Personally, I like the existing model, but I could see this as perhaps a new ship - Outcast-specific LF or civilian LF akin to the Kingfisher (a class 8, two class 9, and a class 10 gun maybe? that'd be kinda cool, an LF with a codename) probably. A little more change might be needed, though, for it to stand apart as its own ship, but I think you've got an interesting start there.

Update the Avenger - Have it keep its giant wing but change a few things to be the more sleeker Upholder type design.

Don't replace the Scimitar please, it already looks fantastic. The idea with MKII fighters like the Scimitar is to allow people like you or me fly our favourite vanilla fighter without them being outclassed by newer models.
It also makes sense from an RP perspective, updated tech etc.

Looks nice, a little mixture of border worlds and IMG. (Nyx alike wings) It could be a nice replace for the Scimitar, to make it look different from the Dagger as you mentioned.

Hate to be a party pooper, but I think changing the wing takes the Liberty feeling away from the ship, since all liberty fighters are associating to an eagle flying (as far as I noticed, even the Patriot/Libby)
So I think the Deffender/Guardian should stay as it is.
