This is how SCRA deals with both promotions and the supply of foodstuffs. The aim of both factions is to overthrow the Kusari government. How can their priorities have changed so drastically? You're damn lucky to have allies. Who do the Corsairs (actual NPC faction) have to turn to? No one. Secertly you should be pleased when a pirate frags a KNF. Think about it, try not to blow a gasket, a valve or something that might actually be vital to your continued survival. Now, an alliance is considered a treaty (usually opportunistic) between two countries/factions/groups/side/etc. This implies that they assist each other in time of turmoil. They do not attack each other. Sadly, espionage still continues, but that is part of any politics. Now, a cease fire, does not mean that the two or more sides involved must assist each other, or even come in contact. In fact, many times, a cease fires terms are included that the two sides must withdraw from each others territory. They do not have to talk, they do not have to do anything that makes them interact. NovaPG+KNF=Cease fire - No interaction, for the most part. Intrepid, you have utterly skull-effed yourself, by attacking pretty much every trader which flits through your scope, which could concivably be both Kusari trading factions, and even, within possibility, Bushido and Nova traders. Go cry in a corner, and get a gunboat if you want to screw with traders. Cruiser whore. Haha, what? I think you have the wrong guy. Not to mention I have yet to see or engage a Bushido or Novapg trader and we already had an agreement to leave a trader alone. Neithe side is lawful or unlawful, seeing as both governments have shady dealings. One one side we have Outcasts/Mollys/Bretonian Mil. and Corps. on the other we have Corsairs/Gaians/nearly every faction from Kusari. Interestingly, the alliances differ depending on the battlefield. The Mollys only help the Bretonians when the KNF attack. they don't join assaults. The same applies to the Kusari lawful/unlawful divide. It's more a mutual defense pact than an alliance, really. The Outcasts and Corsairs don't play a direct role, either. They mostly hit shipping and offer info and supplies. EDIT: Does it really *matter* whether you hit their trader or not?! What matters is that they *think* you did. Hurry up and get sucking up. |
