imo - a lux liner / prison liner is a transport - no matter what you mount on it. special equipment doesn t change a ships class.
or would someone consider a the liberty carrier a transport, when its only equipped with transport turrets? - and yea, it has a lot more cargo space than quite some transport ships. (2000 or 2200?)
imo- being able to mount different equipment on a ship makes ship designs unique. no need to fuss about its class. ( how much information should someone try to get before considering an attack.... scan ID, scan weapons, scan shields, scan armor upgrade.... yay, better tell the target ship to please stop the engines while you inspect it :wacko:=P )
