Hmpf, not a stationary base! It would make it lose it's epicness. I don't see this implemented too soon, trough, but anyway, it is a great model. The one who made it was very inspired. It fits the rheinland theme very well. Kudos to its maker!:)

I haven't seen this in ages.
Still amusing to see one of my renders up there, Xing left, and the project was never truly finished. I played with some flagship designs after he departed, nothing too serious though.
Sprolf is right though Jinx, Kusari got a flagship.

flagships`? hmm a nice idea... but i think they would be too... imba?
but maybe make a rule like:
Flagship class ships are only allowed to be in the Mainsystem of the faction...
(i.E. a Rheinland Flagship isnt allowed to leave New-Berlin...)
and only give 1 of this ships for every official faction (and let them make accsharing with it).. only give it via admin... and only allow really good RP-gamers to fly it

Firstly, the Beowulf was scaled such that you could probably fit Liberty Dreadnoughts inside of it's turret barrels. Also, Xing left awhile back, and it wasn't a "I love Disco but I don't have the time" kind of thing.
The Satsuma's existence makes sense because of the way Kusari works... it is a symbol of Imperial power, not intended for actual combat. Liberty would never build such a thing, it'd be a bit like placing a crown on the President's head. Rheinland also knows that large ships lose to small ships, and is quite unlikely to pour the amazingly small amount of resources they still have into such a thing. Bretonia would rather go for efficiency right now, as they're a bit more concerned with the KNF in Leeds than showing off their power.
I can see Gallia having something crazy and over the top somewhere, though. Something that isn't related to system modding, I mean.
