Whargh, that's a lot of polys.

Less bevelling of the edges.

Think about this for a second too, you'll have to texture every single face/poly on the model.

It has a interesting design, even if it is not in the Freelancer style. It also has a large count of poligons, as I see in the image, which its not very good for a mod:laugh:

Anyway, it is a good attempt and I wish you good luck!

borei! oshi-

dont you have some sort of a polycount tool in there?

curios' new osiris had about 7000 or so (i think)

this would have way too much edges for a fighter.

IMO

edit: or was it 27k?:D

My great god.....i bet the poly on that thing is 18k+

My suggestions has been given out. Again, if you wish to model - i suggest you download an easier version instead of MS3D - /me thinks thats MS3D/

Example:
What i use to model is Metaseqouia - you can download it by clicking the name.

Try to learn your best at modeling - like I did. I didnt got help from no one, tbh.
Except on looking on Jinx's designs. So it is best to look on Youtube and Google for tutorials. Might be complicated to understand but you will get it eventually. Took me almost a year to get my perfection done as I want it.

Definitely not MS3D Luis, that actually looks like a Metasequoia viewport. Either way I'd suggest dumping them for an alternative.

If you can master Gmax it serves as a good primer for stronger and more developed applications, that said you can do some excellent things with all modelling applications if you have the skills.

This brings me to my second point, this is all just an artistic pursuit and you're learning, I know. But what you need to realise is that the way in which you've modeled this is very inefficient, you have faces intersecting and polygons that simply aren't needed.

If you ever did try and put this into a game it would either be very slow, render out looking much less attractive than in your application, or dare I say it crash the game.

Aye, indeed it is Metasequoia - my apologies.

Yet, I'll have to second on Turkish post.
You have the talent on modeling, yet...."is not fully bloomed" to show it's beauty.

Though, if you use Meta more, and use most of its features that are located on the left side - you can get a good comprehension of what you need to do.

Right now, your model is decent, for a starter. So I give you credit for it;)

To see how many polys you have, go to View in the taskbar, then Document Information

Otherwise, looks nice, but I cant think of a faction for it right now
