[color=#FF6666]This happened last week when I was visiting my parents in Gallia. I said... what the hell, let's hunt some pigs if we're already here. Looks like they loved you while you were there. They decided to make another Bret.

[color=#FF6666]As for that cruiser, good luck hunting a ghost. It hasn't been seen around since you escaped. Rumors say that the king himself obsolete it. Other rumors say that it was destroyed by Maquis, which is highly unlikely since the Maquis are a bunch of unorganized terrorists.

Bret:..We will discuss this later...But if you say that the ship in question that I have been planning to take is indeed gone...It seems that we will have to focus on a lesser known target but of the same parameters....I am quite sure that we can do this for the better of the parties involved here.....
*Bret presses a series of panels and the view of Dijion Station appears*
Bret:...Gentlemen...As you know the GRN currently house their Capital ship production of their outer colony facilities here...in the center of Burgundy....Although the Council failed to take the station from reports I obtained with Naoko's help...We should be able to sneak into the station via distraction and acquire one of their Cruisers while its still in the docks....
*Bret points to the map of Sirius and focuses on the Lewis system*
Bret:...Once the ship is out of Gallic space we would proceed to the Gaian Home system of Lewis to begin any repairs or upgrades needed....After that we would move it into a secured hiding spot in which I have no idea where....This is due to the fact that one....Tau space is still unexplored to me and is a conjuction point of Two other houses....Bretonia...and Kusari....
*Bret places his hands onto the table and bends his head down*
Bret:...From that point though...I am clueless on where we could hide such a ship....and I am more then willing to take suggestions from all you here...

"So what's this about acquiring a Gallian Cap, eh? It's a bold move alright and yeah it can be done, but, heck, I dunno. We got anyone who can captain a ship like that? We got a crew? And like Bret says...where we gonna keep her holed up? Heh, at least the funds ain't an issue."
"Pour me a slug o' that wine, eh? And pass me one o' them smokes too, eh? Let's have a think."

Bret:..I highly doubt that the Junker Congress would allow us to station such a craft in PR...And Lewis doesn't have the facilities for stationing it long-term as well........What about the Omega's?....

Druce pours some wine for Red..."Oh! I almost forgot! I brought a bottle for ya as well." He pulls out a bottle of mead from the inner pocket of his cape and puts it down on the table next to the others "But let's make use of our brain cells before fuddling 'em with our booze..."
He focuses his eyes on the starmap
"So, yer plannin' on doin' a return party fer them royal swine? I knew ya wouldn't give up that idea" Druce chuckles quietly, "Their increasing nuisance is not t' be ignored, that's fer sure. In any case, the lot of us managed t' get you and yer corvo out, so gettin' one of their cruisers might be a nice revision, hopefully without me losin' a ship this time" he chuckles, "but...hidin' it somewhere in Sirius...hmm..."
Druce leans forward to the star map, his eyes jumping from one system to another...
"Have ya tried puttin' one of yer contacts from yer travels t' good use? Lewis is large space, an' it would be possible t' hide it in Lewis behind th' further planet an' bring supplies to it from other bases, but that's it, I'm afraid..."
his eyes fall down onto the Omegas
"Th‘ Zoners might be of a help as well...Certainly wouldn’t hurt contactin‘ em...Though, their shipyard is too far away… We’ve still got th’ Sairs on our side, though, that should be one of th’ last resorts..."

"We're gonna need shipyard facilities...The Taus are ruled out for us and I can't imagine Kusari doing a deal in their heartland, way too hot politically. Meh! I see things the same way as Druce..the nearest and friendliest we have are the Zoners and 'Sairs."
"I say we start talking to both outfits unless you wanna engage the Order in talks as well? It's interesting that the 'Sairs seem keen on keeping our alliance going although there has been dwindling comms between us of late."
Leaning forward Red stabs a forefinger at the chart. "What about Gran Canaria? The Corsairs have an enclave there...how about us? We could possibly do a deal around helping to form part of the defences in the area..."
"But like you say Bret, another solution is to keep her based in Lewis and run in supplies...safe base but expensive Maintenance. Right now I'm open to all ideas."

Bret:..If we were to move this to the Order....I doubt they would want to see it in one of their shipyards...They might want to examin the ship though...You know how they are when they see new tech....But I only know one Order pilot and I doubt the entire order would listen to him let alone this Fox...
*Bret rubs his maw....stress starting to get to him*
Bret:...If we did keep it in Lewis...I don't think moving supplies back and forth would be a problem...I can always ask the Congress to do that.....Maybe I can talk to Doc Holiday again.....I see no reason against asking them permission to land it on Gran Canaria.....Wait....This could work.....I remember something about what a miner told me....I wonder if [TAZ] would be interested in looking at a stolen cruiser to give them and edge in case Gallia does invade....Naoko...See if you can contact Doc Holiday at his estate and patch him through to here...Better to transmit to [TAZ] on Gran Canaris as well....

"The trouble is ... and I forgot to warn ya, this could all end up with the Zoner Alliance bleedin' committee or summat like that, who's the other lot? Zoner Council?. It'll go to a Zoner vote and those guys love a good vote/split vote/no majority/re-forming the question/in faction bitchin' and then voting again....Makin' their minds up can take forever. I believe it's a kind of madness brought on by endless hours of mind numbingly boring trading."

Greetings, Bret,
As you can see...*he motions behind him, the constant buzz of doctors and nurses around him*...I'm quite busy these days. I regret that I cannot be part of your meeting.
I do hope your arm is doing well. When you get the chance, please stop by for a check on it. From time to time, we come up with upgrades that we can only install on site.
To your current matter. I cannot give an authorization for what you request on Gran Canaria. I will also say this, the Corsairs may have a farming colony on the back side of the planet but they fall under our law so they cannot make such a deal either.
It may take some time but you will have to make a request to the Alliance itself. I honestly don't know how they will react. Our only ship yard for extensive upgrades and repairs is in Omicron 74 and it is owned by the Zoner Trading Consortium and I know they won't let a non-Zoner land on it.
I'm sorry that this isn't the answer you were looking for but I do have to think of my colleagues on this. We do have some facilities in Baffin but I don't know if they will be suitable.

Bret:..Damn....Gran Canaria was the closest liable planet I could think of....Baffin might not be such a bad place though....Considering the closeness to the Tau's that is.....Shasta Sky Hook wouldn't be a bad place however...And it's within reasonable distance from multiple supply area's......I hope that [TAZ] will allow us to place such a ship if we can capture it...

Bret:....Well....I guess that all that's left to do is....either go ahead with a plan or wait till we see an opening and take advantage of it....It's up to you gentlemen...
