For example, the Homeworld ships, the Container Transport, and the hitbox of the Spyglass. And we only have so many hardpoints we can use on a model. random idea with 'armor panels' - Shush Muppet - 07-05-2010 Well even if this idea wasn't practical for all the ships, I think it'd be great to apply to the Junker shipline. Supposedly every Junker ship is unique and built or passed down through family lines, yet all the Junker ships look identical... for obvious reasons. So why not add different accessory part mounts in the form of cargo pod mounts to the CSV, CSF, Salvager, Recycler, Bulldog, etc. so Junkers can actually have a little variety? Also, such accessories could be modeled after other ships parts (such as Spatial wings, as was suggested earlier) and could only be obtained by looting a ship wreck of a particular model or visiting a Junker "chop shop"? random idea with 'armor panels' - Snoozzzer - 07-05-2010 Factionalized, bolt on armour upgrades!
