Playing as a morph is hard, I won't deny that. But if you go the right places (Bretonia, Tau) You will find people that RP very nicely with you. If you want help with your morph RP, there is an unoffical Morph Helpdesk Chat, I can add you if you want. My skype is in my profile. And trust me, once you get accepted in the Keepers, everything was worth it:D

Yes, the Nomad ID is red for (House) Civilian and Outcast, however the Nomad Trial ID is not even listed. In fact, the Nomad ID isn't even used in GC.

I've had several Admins tell me the Morph ID is the same cells as the Nomad Trial ID.

Did I mention that among other guns, the Mini Razor (civilian) is sold on all nomad bases I've docked at?
Also that

Yeah, you can use whatever is sold on any of the Nomad Bases.

Outcast and and most Civvy guns aren't.

RP wise you can't just transfer what you want into their puny minds. Sure, you can send them images, feelings etc. But you will always have to rely on the other player to lead the RP (Putting extreme strain on them and boring them half to death as you can't even acknowledge anything they say)

Most of the time I encounter morphs (I've seen you tail my Corsair, Devante) I've not recognized -any- of their messages as an attempt to communicate. On an OORP level I see half of those messages as an OORP broadcast of the nomad's feelings, which is great and dandy, but since your average Sirian doesn't percieve emotions over comms. Initiate a direct contact if you want some RP. Really. It will work with good roleplayers. (I'm usually not too concerned with a morph attacking me if I'm in a miner or trader, not enough firepower in those to do serious harm). The only attempt at communication I've had was with a Keeper in Manchester. But unfortunately some OOC cussing cut it short after said keeper vaporised someone who was not interested in RP. *sigh*

I would love to hear some examples of this Keepers RP that you were able to communicate with.
***text*** Is telepathic. Nomads can't / Won't / Will try to use comms.

Nomads communicate by feelings, and sometimes ideas which your brain forms into broken English / riddles as it tries to understand it. If you're waiting for a Nomad to come up to you and say "Hi, how are you today" then you will be waiting a long time. Yes, you may get lucky and find a OCC nomad that doesn't know how to roleplay.

Edit: But you yourself seemed to be RPing just fine. I don't blame you for not understanding, this just further proofs my point:)

Never said Outcast guns nor Civvy guns were, just the Mini Razor (though a few good civvy are)

Also not that I don't believe you and agree it should be the same cells as Nomad ID (BTW that would require Trial ID be allowed access to all nomad ships & equipment), but evidence to support your claim of admin support pl0x? Would like to believe it, but it contradicts what multiple keepers told us so going with whomever seems more reliable.

Talk to any Admin?

There is no reason Outcast Equipment would be allowed for Morphs, and Civvy guns are just stupid...

I've been threated with sanctions from an Admin for having an Inferno on a Morph.

Oh, and Mini Razors, Sheilds, Mines, Thrusters etc are not Civvy, they're generic.

They follow me, sprouting the same lines over and over. I CD them, turn around and fly off. Maybe they would get the picture.

No, they cruise up ***WHY DIOD U SHOOT ME&***
I am VERY sad, that the Outcast ID prevents to kill nomads sometimes.
I try to give them some suggestions on how to improve their RP, all I get is that U R NOT KEPER, U DONT KNOW ****.
Pretty much sums up what I feel about this. I miss the times when people used a simple starflyer to sit 70k above the plane and RP their nomad.

Without going around in a ship worth 7 mil, whining about getting shot outside of Manhattan or ganked by lawful forces.
Well, I agree.. But I could say the same about any faction / ID.
You can't go-off a faction just because you find some noobs;)If that were the case the whole server would be anti:

Trader, Freelancer, Civilian, Pirate, Outcast, Corsair, Mercenary, (And any other commonly abused factions)

Yes, Infernos are the exception to the Outcast allowed for morphs rule. Not my decision, don't try to chew me out. Get admins on the Keepers if you're infuriated, like it or not most people don't find the trial ID on their own.

Logging off, 'night all!

This particular Keeper projected an image of a small figure in front of my pilot (heavily confusing the rest of the Hege's 5 man crew who could not see said image). That gives the player something to interact with, a focus. As the non-nomad player interacts with the projected image and focuses it's thoughts on it, the nomad can communicate two way through it. At least, that's what I think the general thought behind that was.

Never got to finish that RP though due to some OOC ranting over system chat, the Keeper in question logged to take care of that. I still have some screens of the convo (in case the OOC ranting required a report), can't access them from my current RL location though. PM me if interested.
