A venerable L'Ane-class transport which had served the Brigands even before Du Sable came to power. This old, but still reliable vessel has seen a lot and surely docked on most of the Brigand bases (and maybe beyond). A transport that belonged to Etien Fitzroy (who once led les Damnes), now it has the new owner... Christine Armand, the self-proclaimed Princess (or Queen, or whoever) of Epernay, was taking a look at her newest vessel... "Well, it's not so new." By pretty obvious signs she found out that the ship got caught in a crossfire, and more than once. "At least it still can fly. Besides, it was Etien's last present before he "retired" (not much was known about the circumstances, though). "Let's see if there's anything interesting here" - thought Christine as she moved to the Neural Net terminal installed on the ship. "Hmmm... Some messages... A couple of those are new, some are in the "trash bin". She took a look at the old message from a man called Marcus Willow. "That's old" - Christine thought, having cursed after seeing the message date. "It came before I even joined les Damnes... and who are those La Brise anyway? I've heard only some rumours about them". She read the message thoroughly. Then she read the newer messages. Threats, threats.. She already got used to such attitude, it comes with being a Brigand. For a second she considered replying them with a masterfully-crafted curse. "Non, that would be too childish. I wasn't around when it all started. I'll let Du Sable and the others deal with it." With those thoughts she deleted the message. She didn't care much about the threats, the Brigands were used to it and knew how to respond to them. From: La Veuve Noire~ [color=lightblue]La famille de La Brise de Mer To: La Légion des Damnés Subject: These terms are still valid This evening, I will get on my personal fighter, and dock on Montbard. I will meet one of your officers, and I will discuss this issue with him. Like it or not. I will be alone and unarmed, at your mercy. Thank you for your patience.
