Quality comes with a price :P With many Kudos to Serp - Waratah - 09-20-2010 I agree , Serpentis does make great Sigs. Well Done. With many Kudos to Serp - Serpentis - 09-20-2010 Ehm thanks, and yeah.. The spelling mistakes are typical 'Victor' ones.. I have done it a couple of times in the past, but hey! I can always fix it. But thanks for all the compliments:D With many Kudos to Serp - teschy - 09-20-2010 Too.. much... bloom. It doesn't always look as good as you'd want it. With many Kudos to Serp - Serpentis - 09-21-2010 Well, I fixed the typos.. ![]() ![]() ![]() With many Kudos to Serp - jxie93 - 09-21-2010 ' Wrote:Too.. much... bloom. Serpentis style "glow the crap out of sigs". Cool. With many Kudos to Serp - DartStriker - 09-21-2010 Can we offer criticisms here too? Over all I like the style, I think you accomplished what you are going for but there are a few problems I see. Firstly the glow, is heavy. A little to heavy I would suggest. The 6 colored dots, look a little blurry, and their glow almost seems to be dripping off of them instead of radiating off of them. Although you may have done that as a design style. Not sure. Now, this is my personal opinion but the bevel around the lines that make up that hexagon are, over used and cheesy in my mind. I'm guessing you just used the bevel tool on them, or a similar method. I also don't like how the dots are transparent. I would have made one hexagon shaped object and at each location one of those dots are make a circle and place another smaller circle inside of it. Do a simple inner drop shadow on the smaller circle inside and darken it's color. This will make something akin to an inset for a gem stone in jewelry. Then place the colored dots on the inside of that. The key to very professional looking signatures, and this extends to real world graphic design is being subtle. You need to know there is a bevel on the object, but it can't pop out. It has to be small, and precise. Anyways, good work overall. I've seen a lot of your signatures and most of them are very well done. With many Kudos to Serp - valen - 09-21-2010 ' Wrote:Also, Valen's VE sig, it's "I'll be comming for you" No, it is not. With many Kudos to Serp - sovereign - 09-21-2010 The "I'll" does need the second "l", but "coming" is correct. Otherwise that would mean something entirely weird... teeheehee. With many Kudos to Serp - Serpentis - 09-22-2010 I will fix that Typo as well soon ™ And with the glow and such, well to be honest it's a recent experiment of mine xD That's why it is in allot of my work:) |
