The idea is, that Corporations don't like Zoners docking on their bases and taking their business, or simply just to stop Zoner 5k Powertraders Trading everywhere. So the house forces wouldn't mind them being about, just the Corps wouldn't let them land on thier bases. Problem with that repninja is that if a Bowex NPC passes a Zoner for instance, the Bret Police and Armed Forces would then shoot them. To be honest, I'm all for regional Zoners. Zoner ID - Corsair - 10-01-2010 I would say to rephack all GUARD factions hostile, because many Zoners do regular business with house unlawfuls, like Rogues/Hackers in Galileo (Or is it Kepler?) and Hessians on Canaria. Rephacking Guard factions would stop the 'shortcuts' of trading. Also, I would say revoking the "No docking in House space" for any <4.5k cargo ship. So Whales CAN'T dock in House space, but a Firefly CAN. Zoner ID - Colonel.Tigh - 10-01-2010 Just make the Zoner Whale to the GMG Whale, put the Zoners to 3,8k and be done with it. The GMG Whale needs a Model, the Zoner one is nice, fair trade. GMG is hostile to both Corsair and Outcast, but can go to all four major houses, good enough for effectiveness oriented players, and still balanced enough for those with more style. I never had a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is folks getting pissy because someone figured out how to profit, despite the nerf. As to dealing with Illegal house factions. Zoners use diplomacy to ensure safe passage one their routes. Not that this means we don't get pirated. We do. By and large, I think the adjustment the Admins made was a positive one. However, I fail to see the benefit of changing it again. Play with the commodities instead. Fresh routes would be cool in the next mod. Insofar as trading models. (I see the point, but...) I worked too damned hard to earn my ZWhale and I'm not about to give it up. As far as flights of ZWhales... yes, I remember. What happens when the herd gets to thick? I'm all for having a single Zoner ID to cover all Zoner-designated vessels. No need for illogical rep hacks. Reduce maximum cargo hold for Zoner vessels to 3,800. Unlimited ZOI. If a Zoner hauls cargo deemed illegal in a particular sector, he pays the penalty. No fuss, no muss. I say make new routes that dont include house space. and leave the smuggling routes there.
