Lens Flare is $hite it ruins the whole sig,
if you need a light source you are better
off making a new layer setting it to Overlay
choose a soft round brush and highlight the
area that needs lighting.

Bevel and emboss belongs in Paint and should of
never been incorporated in Photoshop.

It makes sigs look ridiculous.

I totally agree to that point. Generally speaking this guidline can be used for any tool and filters offered in photoshop.
Any tool (filter, bevel & emboss, lens flare whatever..) has a right to exist if it is used in that way that it does not appear obviously though creating a nice effect.

Another debatable thing is the shameless use of "seen-to-often-fonts" like Comic Sans MS... :wacko:

That should be the next one I do, 5 fonts you should never use on your signature. Between those stupid script fonts, and crap like comic sans, it could drive a person mad.
