LSF recon cruiser - .:Pandemonium:. - 10-20-2010 very nice model indeed, this kinda stuff is exactly what discovery needs in real, more things to discover - more stationary undockable ships, more nonlootable wrecks (some alien / unknown etc.), more anomalies, good job , would be nice to have it submitted for next version of disco LSF recon cruiser - stewcool - 10-20-2010 +1 Jinx thats absolutely amazing looking. LSF recon cruiser - RmJ - 10-20-2010 OH...a LSF Cap... I love the model. Pros: Looks sweetttt your crusade for next gen line is really consistent and I like that. Cons: While I am being biased the official LSF wouldn't be using it much. BUT I WOULD SURELY MAKE AN INDIE LSF just to fly this. And so would the indie LSF's which I have no problems with it. :Then actually reads: Oh well as a base thingy Oh yes that would be awesome for Ellesmere. Edit: *looks where the link has taken him* OH....media -1 for not reading at all Sorry Jinx LSF recon cruiser - Jinx - 10-20-2010 thats also a point of it... - when its just an object in space - i can give it a very simple hitbox ( like a cylinder ) - and it doesn t need balancing. the mesh "can" be used for a player ship at some later time of course as much as you can basicly use an asteroid base as a playership, too if you d really wish to. however - this is just one of the things that we sometimes miss in discovery developement.... things to discover. what we desperately need is more "stuff" without a real meaning for "balance" but a meaning for lore. and not everything we see should go like "i want to use it, too" - but it may be beneficial if some things we see are simply reserved to NPCs in a way. Indeed. Balancing wears me out. Having cool stuff like this without worrying about it is nice. You make good points. I am sitting in Sigma 60 for some time now not a single thing but an unnamed planet "Unknown" but nothing else. I find it silly to point out but...random debris in the empty system could provoke pages of RP... I am not even joking! If I find one piece of debris in Sigma 60 I am going to get all over it and RP it to DEATH! Obviously, both have diverged from that point, but as it stands this looks nothing like the Spyglass that'll be in-game as a Hellfire Legion ship.Guys, put it as HF Spyglass. Would be lovely <3 LSF recon cruiser - darkxy - 10-20-2010 HOLLY **** ! CAN I HAVE ONE PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE ???!!! LSF recon cruiser - Rommie - 10-20-2010 That looks good.I really like its side profile. LSF recon cruiser - valen - 10-20-2010 Gee, I wonder who'll steal this one. LSF recon cruiser - Turkish - 10-20-2010 Would be neat if we could work out a way to have unique NPC ships in guard (or other) systems as odditites and easter eggs. |
