Switching to a transport and back to pick up ores while mining is, imho, pure meta-gaming. Too sad this practice is widely spread nowadays...
The sad thing really is that they are able to pull it off. I mean in my experiences during mining operations leaving for even a minute could cost you all your work. I am surprised that those who still think it's within reason to transport ore in a mining vessel and not an actual transport continue to do so without even thinking of the RP ramifications.

Yep I remember the good old days.... 15 lvl 5 miners 2 transports 1 mining ships. Good old days of big group mining. Miners got paid dirt cheap, transports get 20% and the mining hubs (directors) 30% and I got the rest 50% without touching a single rock. Those were the days.....

Yeah mining personally sucks now. Impossible to get anyone to stick a mining operation out anymore.
