Can one get a barge with a standard Zoner ID, not the Guard ID? - Wuselkobold - 02-16-2011

I was actually joking...
Although, if you manage to get me a Screenshot with a Barge next to Sparta you'll get a cookie xD

Not that you could get the ID first and then Bargify it someplace more conveniant :)

You won't even get past the first bend of the minefield, the barge is way too long to turn without being blown to bits.

Yes, one can. But it seems someone already answered so...

As a Zoner, you should be fine with a Barge, whether you're just a regular Zoner or a Guard.

But on a related note, what about IDs that have cargo restrictions?
Quote:...Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo...
That line can be found on most pirate IDs, Order IDs, Junker IDs, And all House police/military/intelligence IDs. OSC has a restriction as well, but for 4,500 instead.

So does that restrict them from getting a Barge?

When we decided to get a Barge for RHA, I repped a CSV with regular Hessian rep and then we asked Dieter to bargify it... When we got the ship back, it had a Hessian Guard ID.

I think it's probably the same deal with any other ID that has a guard variation.

Oh, so if you just have a Zoner ID'ed IFF'ed character, and you barge it and then 'they' send it back, you get a Guard ID? Fancy that.
