Well, I'd prefer them getting Jinx's model in 4.86, but who cares.
Anywho, I doubt the admins would've pulled down the SRP and had Dieter repeatedly beat his head against his desk with the sheer volume of Barge requests if they're just going to undo all that work in a few months/years/decades when .86 comes out.

Don't let anyone in on my little secret, but I've heard from a good source that the water commodity is going to change into a new kind of ore come 4.86. they'll add in a new water commodity that is sold on less bases and is almost profitable to trade. Shhh :wacko:

No they wouldn't. Admins don't refund you if your current ship/ID set up becomes an illegal loadout when the mod is updated. They give you ample time to find a new ship before they burn you, but they do not refund you your cash. At least that is how it went last time.
