Look out for the NPC herons.
When they disappear, yours will disappear, too.

I think this happens with the Stork too, its been awhile since I flew in one, but I think its that "Series" of ship. nothing to worry about.

I have a very similar problem.....I can't see Liberty carriers , liberty battlecruisers and some other ships.....

Set your detail and texture settings to max, this might help you. Also this is a very old thread.
