All you need to do is edit a single line in a certain .ini file to make them appear white or yellow like 80% of the other low graphics FX.
It was laziness not adding it in from the start. The color does not need to be changed.

Goddamnit people, you remind me of quaky players with all those fov140 and ****, and the general fps players setting graphics to the lowest possible level for better shooting.
And anyway, the color of black widows is their best part, at least in my opinion.
