Dear Mr. Cook

Let's start talking about cash.
I'd like to know your prices for delivery of 25k of polymers and 50k of H-Fuel to Junction.
Although i'm aware that negotiating greater quantities of cargo to be delivered would be... more profittable economically... Unfortunately I must manage my budget on day-to-day basis.

Additionally, I'd like to know if you would be interested in hauling some small quantities of cargo to our... friend scientist - to Galia.
There are no requests pending from him at the moment. I would just like to know if i should consider your party as potential subcontractor on this route.

Respectful Mr. O'Neal,

Now here's the kind of proposal we at The Project love to talk about. Two big shipments of commodities produced by states unfriendly to the client. Of course, that little fact will cost you a bit more. You know, safety budget and all, I'm sure you would understand. Now, polymers could either be purchased in Rheinland or Kusari. In order to spare us (and, consequently, you) exorbitant amounts of money in, hum... "safety features" (and seeing as H-Fuel can also be purchased in Kusari), we'll procure that particular commodity up in the Crow. Of course, given the current climate and the strong opposition on foreign trading in Kusari House territory, you'll understand that we need to up the price, slightly.
So, down to pure prices:

1) H-Fuel - Yes, it is in Kusari Core Space, but Fujisawa itself is controlled by the GMG. As such, we have no need to increase value, and would be glad to ask simply for shipping value. I'd say a total of... 1200 credits per unit delivered would be acceptable (for a net total of 60 million Sirius Credits), no?
(I ask for price per unit, seeing as we have a respectful trade fleet, meaning the shipping costs should be split in proportion to amount delivered. It's a system that works, wouldn't you agree?

2) Polymers - Now, the complicated part. We could purchase it in Rheinland, but for obvious reasons, we won't. As such, Kusari would be the main choice. However, given the complicated intricacies regarding the Keiretsu, and especially Samura, shipping of one of their main exports will be a logistical nightmare on our part. As such, we would settle on a price of 1300 credits per unit delivered, for a net total of 32,5 million Sirius Credits.

As a side note, yes, we would be highly interested in cargo runs to your scientist in Gallia, seeing as it perfectly coincides with our current plans with that particular region.

I guess it would be disrespectfull if I didn't try to bargain a bit.
So what would you say for total of 90 milions for those two comodities?
If you agree, I'd say that we've got ourselves an accord.

There is also one thing to discuss - payment terms. I'm open for any suggestions here.

Have no worries, bargaining and haggling are a vital (and important) part of every negotiation. In fact, considering the amounts we're dealing with here, I believe that marketing down the price by 2.5 million credits is perfectly reasonable. No biggie.
However, in order to do so, we'd need to decrease the price of each unit of Polymers to 1200 credis (same as the H-Fuel).
Here is where the other part of your co,munication kicks in: payment terms. We at The Project prefer to work under a "you deliver, you get payed" regime. Namely, after each shipment is complete, the shipping profit is to be transferred in proportion to the amount each member has transported. Example: considering the 1200 credit price per unit of H-Fuel, consider one of us delivers 1000 units (this is a gross understimation, obviously, our traders can carry MUCH more, have no worries). When all the fifty thousand units have been delivered, that particular trader would get his fair share. Namely, 1200 X 1000, which equals 1200000 credits. Rinse and repeatt.
Obviously, payment should be transferred only when the full delivery has been completed. Standard protocl, I'm sure you'll understand.

I'm not sure if understood you correctly... Do you prefer payment after every delivery or after finishing whole the contract?
For me, it's no big difference - only slightly more paperwork in first case.

Either way, I agree to your conditions regarding prices aswell as payment terms - regardless of your choice of the latter.

We prefer payment after the entire shipment is delivered (hence, we expect payment for the H-Fuel when all the H-Fuel is delivered, same with Polymers). Nonetheless, shipments will begin at once.

Sorry for the delayed response. Piracy's rampant as of late, and we've had to take extra precautions. Nonetheless, all the 25000 polymers have been delivered to your repair crews aboard Junctio. As evidenced by the guncam pics available below, all the proceeds should be delivered to the ship named [ToP]-Vulpes (yes, the IFF has been altered. Logistical stuff, you'll understand). 1200 credits per unit times the 25000 units delivered amounts to 30 million Sirius credits. Rest assured the H-Fuel is also on the way.
