That means...More you mine the field becomes less minable so you better want to mine around different places...

Yes, default chat is now /local and it is great! Thank the developers.
Yes, when you kill a rock it goes into your cargo hold, to mine for someone else. Merely target them and it will fill their holds up. By target I mean select them.
As stated mining fields deplete as people mine them. They do regrown over time though.
Yes, you still get a mining bonus depending if you have the right IFF, ID, ship, and mining guns. If you are in a mining fighter (mafic, dacite, basalt) and you have any of the mining IDs other than the Indy Miner ID; you even get a 25% bonus! This is to promote mining in groups instead of alone.
Drop rates depend on the mining bonus you get from your IFF, ID, ship and guns.
