The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - Theratrii - 09-18-2011 *loraine Looks at the scaple* i haven't used one of them in quite some time. my armour has all the fiddly tools built in to the glove parts...actually, come to think of it... *loraine Pulls out a White Varient of the armour that is currently on Loraine's back* This is for you. its one of the two prototypes for the X-304 "phoenix" Utility suit. When we're done in the labs, you can have a poke at it. it has a built in HUD display, that you can customize with to do lists, specimen data, and anything else of the sorts. but, back on topic, it would be better if you do it today The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - neko_soilder - 09-19-2011 Oh wow! She bows her head to show her gratitude, placing the armour onto a table in the back of the room Thank you very much, i can't find words to express my gratitude at the moment. I'm sure we'll be able to return your sign of good will with some of our own assets. She picks up the scalpel, carefully cutting away a piece of the purple blobs outer layer and placing it on a petri dish I don't have much experience in the biological sciences being a chemist and all, so I do hope i did my incision correctly. I was kinda hoping you would have a more experience then I in the use of a scalpel She laughs a bit, giving the sample Travis who puts it into the mass spectrometer. when examining nomads you should always test what it is made of in a mass spectrometer, most of its makeup is the basic naturally occurring elements from hydrogen all the way up to Iron, but we do get fluctuating amounts of other elements, some of which are not on the periodic table that the rest of Sirius uses. The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - Theratrii - 09-25-2011 *Loraine Laughs* I specialize in Prototype technology, not bio-science. but i know some of the theory. *Loraine's Visor on her left eye changes to display read outs, and looks at the nomad* So, if the Nomads have all different chemical make-up, how to they function all similar? Do the function of chemical reactions, and wouldn't the chemical reaction to stimulation have a nulled effect to certain stimuli due to the difference of the cataclystic elements required to initiate a reaction within the nomad? The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - neko_soilder - 09-25-2011 Well, what we've managed to understand about the nomads is that they get their energy through absorbing radiation from the sun, since the process of fusion can only produce elements up to the atomic number of iron before the energy required to produce heavier elements is greater then the energy released from the process. The other elements seem to fluctuate between each nomad, though they have similarity though. I can only assume this happens to be similar to the fact that nomads are sentient beings just like us, different from one another in the strangest of ways. Their abilities are still a mystery for me, but possibly one of my colleges like Dr. Sinclair would know more on the subject. She cuts out another piece from the nomad caprice of substantial size and places it inside a bag. I'll be collecting some additional samples so you may use them in your labs when you wish, I'll also give you some of our safety equipment and tools. I had to say thank you in some way didn't I? She chuckles a little before scooping some of the nomads jelly-like innards into jars. The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - Theratrii - 09-25-2011 *Loraine Laughs* haha, i guess your right there. wait, you said that they get their energy from the sun? hmm, that is very convenient. i may have a utilizable Prototype in work right now that may help you order guys out...only thing is...its dangerous, and needs a tonne of power... hmm... *loraine looks at the jar and laughs a little* wow, thats...um...appetizing... The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - neko_soilder - 09-25-2011 She gestures to the jar It goes great on toast, trust me She laughs, placing a lid on the different jars and labeling them. The K'Vosh where extremely advanced to be able to manufacture beings such as the 'nomads'. I personally believe their secretes lie in their chemical makeup, something allows them to be able to absorb radiation and be able to use that as a source of weapons, propulsion, and their strange telepathic abilities. Most of this is just speculation of course, maybe you will learn more about them on your own. she hands Loraine the jars she has been fillings up and the bag filled with the caprice Here, so your scientist can study them as well, I'm sure they would love to know more about the Slomon K'Hara as well. Oh, and I almost forgot, I should give you some of our equipment, so you all don't endanger yourself to much. She gestures to her team on the other end of the lab to go fetch some spare equipment We have specialized scanners that can scan for nomad material inside of a human, which is very useful for checking for infected individuals. Most of what we use for nomad research are normal tools modified to be more effective in the study of nomads then a normal one would. The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - Theratrii - 09-29-2011 Thank you for your generosity. i must ask though, would we be able to get digital copies of the equipment, so the specifictions can be met on our existing equipment. also, my on board VI has just finished compiling the data on the Prototype i was referring to just before. i shall forward some data on the X-EVG-2, it will be uploaded onto the X-304 i provided you with. *Loraine Takes the Jar and investigates the contents* wow, these things look...odd. this thing wont...affect anything will it? technology, or biological matter? The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - neko_soilder - 10-03-2011 With the schematics, I can load them onto a file and send them to you later, I'll send them to the Scarlet Pride once you leave, unless you want me to send them somewhere else? She gestures over to the jars I'm not sure about them infecting anything, I wouldn't put a definite answer of anything of K'vosh origin. But it would be my best guess that these remains should be innate and would not harm humans or technology, unless perhaps if they were consumed... The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - Theratrii - 10-07-2011 *Loraine laughs* Hahaha, i will be sure to prevent anyone from eating this then. But as for the schematics, send it to the Pride, i'll make sure its forwarded to the appropriate places. also, if there is any unclassified data or procedure's that you would be willing to share with us, would you be able to send them also. *loraine's headset makes a tone* ah, please excuse me, i have to take this call. *loraine chats to the headset, but her words make no sense* ah, sorry about that. The Corona Battlegroup at Heath - neko_soilder - 10-10-2011 *she waves her hand in a carefree gesture* Don't worry, I get those constant annoyances all the time. I'll be sending a large data file with everything I can give you later to the Pride, I'm afraid that i can't release any data relating to the militarization of nomad technology. Nomad tech is the reason for our conflict with the bounty hunters guild, greedy *Jennifer mutters something harsh under her breath* *She finds a one of the many rolling chairs around the room and takes a seat* anything else you would like? Feel free to ask me. |
