This is for you. its one of the two prototypes for the X-304 "phoenix" Utility suit. When we're done in the labs, you can have a poke at it. it has a built in HUD display, that you can customize with to do lists, specimen data, and anything else of the sorts.

I don't have much experience in the biological sciences being a chemist and all, so I do hope i did my incision correctly. I was kinda hoping you would have a more experience then I in the use of a scalpel

when examining nomads you should always test what it is made of in a mass spectrometer, most of its makeup is the basic naturally occurring elements from hydrogen all the way up to Iron, but we do get fluctuating amounts of other elements, some of which are not on the periodic table that the rest of Sirius uses.

So, if the Nomads have all different chemical make-up, how to they function all similar? Do the function of chemical reactions, and wouldn't the chemical reaction to stimulation have a nulled effect to certain stimuli due to the difference of the cataclystic elements required to initiate a reaction within the nomad?

Well, what we've managed to understand about the nomads is that they get their energy through absorbing radiation from the sun, since the process of fusion can only produce elements up to the atomic number of iron before the energy required to produce heavier elements is greater then the energy released from the process.
The other elements seem to fluctuate between each nomad, though they have similarity though. I can only assume this happens to be similar to the fact that nomads are sentient beings just like us, different from one another in the strangest of ways.
Their abilities are still a mystery for me, but possibly one of my colleges like Dr. Sinclair would know more on the subject.
She cuts out another piece from the nomad caprice of substantial size and places it inside a bag.
I'll be collecting some additional samples so you may use them in your labs when you wish, I'll also give you some of our safety equipment and tools. I had to say thank you in some way didn't I?
She chuckles a little before scooping some of the nomads jelly-like innards into jars.

The K'Vosh where extremely advanced to be able to manufacture beings such as the 'nomads'. I personally believe their secretes lie in their chemical makeup, something allows them to be able to absorb radiation and be able to use that as a source of weapons, propulsion, and their strange telepathic abilities.
Most of this is just speculation of course, maybe you will learn more about them on your own.

Here, so your scientist can study them as well, I'm sure they would love to know more about the Slomon K'Hara as well. Oh, and I almost forgot, I should give you some of our equipment, so you all don't endanger yourself to much.

We have specialized scanners that can scan for nomad material inside of a human, which is very useful for checking for infected individuals. Most of what we use for nomad research are normal tools modified to be more effective in the study of nomads then a normal one would.

I'm not sure about them infecting anything, I wouldn't put a definite answer of anything of K'vosh origin. But it would be my best guess that these remains should be innate and would not harm humans or technology, unless perhaps if they were consumed...
