I played it and got bored of it. The new 1.8 is interesting and if I do not know what I should do when I am sitting infront of the computer then I think about clicking on that shortcut. When I am playing games on my computer then I want some action, something that lacks a bit in MC if there is nothing like an Arena or something like that. So....MC is fine but Disco is better.

It requires the ability to make your own fun.
A lot of people dont find that appealing.
The reason I love minecraft, is survival multiplayer. Starting in a new world, taming that world. Then making an intricate sky/water/desert/underground sanctuary with piston doors, traps and massive neon signs in redstone torches.
The whole "beating a hostile world" thing is what drives me.
