How much comminucation is there between lawfuls? - BaconSoda - 03-22-2008 Personally I voted poor/average/low... First off, it is hard to catch smugglers, even if you know they're there. There are just so many ways out of a system in most cases. Take Cambridge, what I think is one of the most smuggled into/out of systems, for example: A Corsair-allied smuggler could haul things out of Cambridge via the Jump Gate to Omega 3, Jump Hole to Omega 3, or Jump Hole to Omega 5, and escape out of the BPA jurisdiction... Systems are just too big...And, really, I think that is the way it should be. In the BPA's case, I think smugglers are reported quite well. If we see one, we warn those online and post it in our patrol report. Easier done than said. Smuggler reported, we go through the motions, and kabam, everyone has an eye out for that smuggler. For the third question, sadly, I don't think Freelancer has the ability to enhance communication unless we were given the source files....Not all that hard when you can alphabetize the list, but still tiresome... And, for the record, I did smuggle for the Hogosha/Corsairs for a bit. I was only caught once, by the [RM] when I was passing through New Berlin with some artifacts trying a new run...But Herr Bacon has since signed on with the Samura and cleaned himself up... |
