Not a long ago, Myself and Holl-san agreed to take our fight against the Kusarian traitor forces inside their system, i.e. in Kyushu. The day started with , both of us agreeing to take our ships for a brief patrol. The Headquarters provided us with clear co-ordinates with all the required data available. We were soon joined by Tieng-San.
Our first move started with us flying to the Tau-23 system to have a walk near the Java Station. Surprisingly, we found that the weapon platforms were having a run on us. To our shock, they were the Gallic platforms; although the Java station was still having the Guild's docking bay. gathering evidences, we moved over to the rest of Taus and encircling the entire Tau globe, we were heading back to the Nagasaki for a refill when Holly-San managed to strike up a transmission with Strange Freelancer loitering near our No-Entry Proximity Zone.
After a brief instruction provided by us to him about the Zones, we had strange distress signals. HQ contacted us and wanted us to patrol and intercept if necessary. The Order was followed and we managed to find the sources originating from the traitor force ship named Fuji-2. After a brief conversation, we were joined by reinforcements. He was heavily outnumbered, but as Ronin, we gave him the chance of honorary duel He fought with Chiko-San, while Oki-San was with us. The duel resulted in destruction of the enemy which soon ended our patrol.
The Pod was recovered and was given to the authorities aboard the Nagasaki. It was a triumph for us and we will succeed in achieving those inside Kyushu too.

Battlegroup Eta-1 reporting in. Our patrol remain mostly quiet, dispatched as a result of reported blood dragon activity in New London, which could only mean they would have to go through the Taus to return to their hidden base in Kusari. Our object was to intercept the enemy battlegroup on their path. However, Honda-san, IKN Hamasaki, and I were held up dealing with what appeared to be a very stubborn Il-de-France Shipping marked slaver, carrying a load of passengers in the warzone. The aforementioned vessel, Space_Cowboy, a "Vache" class train was moving the poor souls in the cargo hold of his transport, without oxygen, food, or water. We could only assume they were prisoners or worse, slaves. After ordering his immediate stop, we engaged in conversation to attempt to force the release of his captives on Holman, only a short flight away. He showed to be unreasonable and extremely recalcitrant, deny that his employment had any relevance to enemy invasion. Refusing to comply to any demands, we radioed a rescue crew from Holman and decommissioned his vessel. Unfortunately, this incident prevented us from intercepting the Blood Dragon party.

Yesterday, after a little group of us headed out for a patrol with a rather weird encounter in the system of Tau-23, I had only a short break on the hangar deck of the Nagasaki, as soon new orders were handed over to me. I was meant to head out again, and set course for the Kyushu system. As the task was to update our traffic charts and gather information about static defenses, searching for routes that future squadrons can use to bypass the Naval Forces' presence, I left alone and used the target system's connection to Tau-23 to get inside.
For a while, everything remained quiet, even the usual civilian traffic seemed to be at an all time low. Not to speak of the absence of any military patrols near the jump hole I used. Either the Republic's naval forces focus their military assets in a completely different corner of Kusari, or they are not up to date on the jump connections Kyushu possesses. Either way, further research on this matter is advised, for there could be substantial weak points to be exploited by our forces.
However, after some time, a sole naval fighter turned up on the radar, and things started to develop in a way I did not deem feasible at that point. As the briefing stated to avoid any fighting, and valuable data had been gathered already, I decided to play it safe and retreat. However, my ship suddenly fell out of cruise and I was not able to reenter it again. Apparently, the craft had been hit by micrometeorites that somehow bypassed the shield defense, damaging the power supply. The republican pilot came closer, and for now I was not able to react â trying to get at least the most basic systems to run again.
More or less luckily, the enemy pilot was alone, and engaged in a conversation rather than immediately opening fire, thus giving me time to keep him busy while working on all the technical problems I had. During the conversation, said pilot tried to get hands on sensible information several times, and I tried to get some sense into him by educating him about the state we and our nation are in, torn apart by foreigners and power hungry opportunists. Neither of both worked.
In the end, as I good the most vital functions of my Chimaera back online, we agreed on fighting out a fair duel â as without an operational cruise drive, I saw no other chance of getting out of this situation while still keeping the viable intel collected. But during the battle it turned out that my damaged vessel could not stand a chance against my opponent, leaving me with a highly probable defeat, the loss of all data and becoming a prisoner. Being pushed against the wall like this I decided there would be only one solution: Pretending death. I used the chance as the opponent rushed towards me to drop a preparated mine. The explosion close to my anyway heavily damaged ship made it look as if the enemy shots destroyed it, killing me. But unnoticed, in the dust of the wreckage, my escape pod drifted away â containing the information about the Kyushu system. After some time, a friendly Farmers Alliance vessel picked me up, and made it possible for me to return to the Nagasaki. Even though I am ashamed to have lost a ship to the enemy, I assume the information was worth the risk, for the false rulers will hopefully loose so much more material very soon.
