Multiboxing - ryoken - 02-21-2012 Best bet is to find an Official fation player of your faction. Ask them to hold item while you swap ships. This is how we all did it in the old days. Also admins have said in past if you ask someone to hold something, and they take off with it/log off or what ever. Have screens as they find this behavior ruining of others gameplay, and poor behavior. They will be punished. Multiboxing - AeternusDoleo - 02-21-2012 Any available [The_Angels] faction folk might also be helpful - if they want to. But yea, multiboxing is njet allowed. Taking up server space to enhance your gameplay at the expense of others is not encouraged. There is only one exception, as others have explained already. An exception that is only to be used to exchange equipment safely when the server is at a low population limit, i.e. below 100. I say this simply because many of us would be extremely unhappy if this was taken away due to abuse. It's a feature that helps transfer equipment from one ship to another so that the equipment does not get lost. It is used as a last resort when you don't have a friend or fellow faction member online to help you out. DON'T abuse it. Quite correct. The proper way is you have 2 computers, with 2 different accounts,1 for each computer. This is the only way to safely transfer equipment from 1 ship to another, such as a storage vessel. Discovery can run more than one instance if your computer is fast enough. I've been doing some multibox trading on DUSA with only computer. Sort of wild, actually, since on there with me running three accounts at the time I'm on, I'm half the server population. :) Multiboxing - ryoken - 02-22-2012 ' Wrote:Side note - only 1 computer is required now. Tsk Tsk. Rules here - no multi-boxing. Rules there - multi-boxing (as long as you can RP each ship seperately) allowed. Also the 32 ping I have to DUSA helps considerably over the usual 140 ping I have to GC. Multiboxing - gafwmn - 03-17-2012 Aye,that it does.Whats your chars over there ? |
