Ave boss,I would have never thought not even for a moment you and the other fellows were still alive.I honestly thought you would have been killed by some other psychopaths all over this Sector or something.Seriously,it's full of psychopaths,and I'm not only referring to those blue aliens who almost annihilated our entire people(or what remained of it,anyway)when we arrived there.I'm sure that you'll understand to who am I referring to as time passes.Anyway,nice to see the nation is still alive(though with no territory of our own),so there I am asking to be enlisted again.I had a decent-sized trading guild back on Capua,remember?Well,I suppose that I'll keep doing what I did best back in the old world:enriching the nation and providing primary and secondary too needs to our refugees on those Freeports in the south.

Biography
Born in what would be Sirius' 789 AS on Capua,an outer colony...and one of the first ones experiencing the rage of the Huns.Vibiis Egnatiis grew in a humble medium sized family,he never had neither too much nor not enough to live.He conduced a moderate life,one with no comforts,but also not one of suffering.Overall,he could have very well been your average next door's neighbour.Once grown up,he and 5 other friends founded the Campanian Trading Guild at age 21(810 AS)wich,in short time,turned out to become a decent sized business.The luck(and the nice life provided by the money coming from the Guild)was short lived.In 814 AS,when he was 25,the Huns attacked Capua.The company's freighters weren't even given the chance to protect themselves(Egnatiis always said,when someone asked for guns on the freighters "Oh c'mon,who's gonna attack us?The legions?",trying to spare money).In short time,only one freighter remained.Egnatiis escaped with his family in Latium.His home bombed and razed,its men killed,its women raped,its children captured by the Huns.The company,his family,his home,his life,were all basically destroyed.In one of the last days of the siege of Nova Roma,his entire family was slaughtered,except him,being him away from the refugee camp in that moment.Few days after,the Latin loyalists escaped with what they could:a ragtag flotilla of 20 between freighters,transports and other ships,filled with as many people as they could.Despite the fact that everyone and everything he had was lost,he tried,in the 5 years of voyage to Sirius,to keep himself as he was before everything happened:the good old Egnatiis,he tried in any way possible to not make himself become blinded by hatred,to not become a monster,he tried to remain the overall simple and happy(although also quite feet-licking,cowardly and greedy) person he was before.Now,on Sirius,he's in front of a new world.A world,a society,to be exact,wich,ironically,his ancestors tried to leave about 800 years ago.

Excellent,then.Since I have the chance,then I think that,other than trading,dealing with the rest of the barbarians there would be more than fine for me.I'm asking for a position involving both trading and diplomacy,and I think that being an aìdil/aedile would be very appropriate.
