See you in space!!

Yep. Read the rules, easy enough to follow. Roleplay conventions are to be followed when communicating and engaging. No flying around Liberty farming Rogues in a Sabre, no mounting Nomad guns without express consent, licensing and a damn good reason to. Cap ships are limited in what you can do with them, and so on.

And one I recently discovered to my chagrin: Running freight between Kusari and Bretonia is considered smuggling and is done at risk of credits, cargo and ship. Especially now that I *just* hit Level 30.

It just don't turn fast but it is perfect for the start up blockade runner. You can get it cheap!!!:P Get the top of the line booster. You just put the the biggest energy throwing guns and maybe a couple of missles plus the torpedo :yahoo:you can mount on it. You take a high profit cargo and head to your destination. You find that lone pirate or other unlawful (to you) sitting on the JH you want to use. (If he or she is between you and the JH the better.) Line up on the JH and stay out of cruise. Start pumping torps at max range and open up with everything else when they come into range. Keep full boost on the whole time. When the pirate either moves out of the way, go for dock with JH or JG. While your nav computer is trading numbers to get you through, go to aft view and start blasting. When you get to the other side, engage cruise and get out of there. I have seen gunboat pilots fly nervous for a while after such an attack. (Duh, I am in a gunboat. Why are my shields dropping?......Thats a class 6 ship.)

PS. After such an encounter. I would suggest a differant route. Said opponent may have called some friends in or the same trick may not work twice. I made my first 2 mil this way.

PPS. With this ship, it is the side shots that get you.:laugh::laugh:

That's one strat I haven't thought of. I always keep a shield buster mounted as well (//though that's where RP convention gets me, I'm lazy and got used to spreading the cheese with a Sabre running Nomads, El Cids and a Sunslayer )

And yep. Chainguns and a shield-eater and torps and missiles in a full head-on charge to the JH. Heaven help you if someone's on the other side, though.

Not complaining, despite it turning like the big tortoise it is, it's a great step forward from the CSV I was rocking before. Guess I was somehow expecting all the guns to face forward and for it to handle like a Drake. :P
