Well I think the Eclipse is ok. Mostly for the fact that I love freighter shields and that I have been DYING to mount a CD on a bomber and still have 2 torp launchers left.
But hey, the Cougar is insanely cheap for a bomber, just 100k more than a Spatial

The Eclipse is okay, its actually able to dodge quite a bit due to its shape. So if you want something that really hurts Caps, take it.

Thread is a few months old... I bought both, but haven't flown either that much. I did catch a battleship in the asteroids near Tau-29 with the Eclipse and ruined his day all by myself, good ship for that kind of work. I can't remember any fights in the Cougar, but I'm sure I had a couple. It's a good bomber, great handling.

I'd say the Eclipse.
It isn't as slow and brick-like as everyone says it is. I fly the Eclipse and it is one of my favourite bombers.
And it can kill fighters. Just look at my sig.
