Sir Firmus Piett

*Her tone much lighter and warmer*

A reply, good, a reply is a start sir.
We are the Obsidian Zoetic and we are currently
building ourselves a safe haven in Omicron Zeta,
currently we have: One large research and ship
maintenance station, a boarder defense station
and a fully functioning Orbital Docking ring
to an Ice World.

Our people are currently importing unimaginable
amounts of Terraforming Gasses, at great cost,
from the PFI) which I am sure you can imagine
is of great benefits to the both of us. This Ice
Planet, Murilo, is our proposed safe haven and
whilst currently not suitable for mass migration
to its surface it very soon will be.

As to what ships we could use?
Well, I myself have been bunged in a cargo
hold with a few hundred other refugees and
ferried from port to port whilst our savior
searched for anyone willing to take us.

This is not something I wish to force upon your
people and thus we originally intended to move
them with our Zoner Colony ship, however, it has
been modified to a condition where it... lets just
say, wouldn't be very comfy...

Because of this we would have to seek out either
the purchase or lone of Liner vessels suitable to
transfer your civilians to a safer home. This I
am sure you can understand would be a costly
en devour and is why we have asked for you
to loosen your boarder restriction for our people
and in that way we can both grow a little more
prosperous and be capable of funding our respective
projects.

*she sighs*

I understand your doubt but, trade is not
a one way street, both sides become
prosperous from trade and my people
harbor your Government or your people
no ill effect.

On a final note; whilst I am glad to hear
your people are not in need of nomad
remains and are thus not exposing yourself
to the hazardous effects of incorrectly
pacified remains, you must know the
advantages that such cloaking technology
could give you verses the Gallic...

But... Nevermind, this is none of my
business.

We only want to help,
Safe skies.

Colin O'hanna

To Colin O'Hanna, overseer of the Obsidian Zoetic.

Your willingness to help us was noted and its time to give you a chance to prove your good intentions.

For start you will be given access to enter in our systems with 5 transport ships with no more than 3600 cargo. They will have permission to dock in our House space and evacuate some of the civilians. You can also use escort of 5 fighters or bombers, depending on your needs. They will serve as extra protection for the evacuation ships. If there is need of extra hand you can always contact the police or the armed forces for reinforcement in case you were engaged by pirates or terrorists.

With this I belive we can lay the foundations of our future relations. Depneding on how they will proceed from now on, changes can be made in order to improve your convoys defensive capabilities.

I will be awaiting your response,
Sir Firmus Piett
Fleet Admiral of the Armed Forces

Sir Firmus Piett

Whilst I am not ungrateful for you good will
this seems like a charade and I am not fond
of being messed about...

[color=#FFFFCC]*she sighs*

You realize as a Subsidiary group of Zoners
your laws and your people already welcome
us freely into your space?

Therefore this olive branch: is no more
than a restriction. Do really believe to be doing
an act of good will by restricting both the number
of ships we are allowed into your space as well
as their size?

Secondly you allow us to begin the evacuation
of your refugees without anymore than a small
description of where they will be taken.
Negligence... Do you really hold such little
disregard for the well being of your people?

I sincerely am not impressed with your
blind and ignorant form of diplomacy,
we offer ourselves to help you and you
treat us like second class Zones.

To Colin O'Hanna,

Ma'am, It seems my respond was misunderstood.
All the information you have provided us so far was noted by the admiralty board. Now we know who you are, where you will take part of our civilians and with what ships you will do the evacuation.
My early respond contained a permission to let you form an evacuation convoy consisting of 5 transport ships of 3600 cargo and some snubs for escort. That was not restriction to your group or possible disruption of your normal trading routes but only a classification for the civilian evacuation convoy.

If you find it necessary to booster this exact convoy's defenses with more ships and different classes, that should be discussed after some time. The most important issue for now would be to track the civilians and their opinions about Murilo. If everything is clear the convoy's capacity will be increased.

I will be awaiting your answer,
Sir Firmus Piett
Fleet Admiral of the Armed Forces

Sir Firmus Piett

Ah, my apologies...
The transmission must have some how been
damaged on its journey to the Omicrons sir
I did not realize you were speaking specifically
about the restrictions of the Convoy.

A Convoy...

*she mulls over the idea*

You must understand that raising so many liner class
vessels would be a great cost, my advisers have been
looking over some options recently and I will consult you
with their proposition once we have discussed it further.

We must weigh up whether the extra cost of having more
vessels is worth it instead of making five separate trips
based on added security of a convoy and assessing other
uses for the liners when they are not being used to ferry
refugees.

Until then, however, I have had my people acquire an old
liner sourced cheaply and we are assessing its fitness for
purpose.

In the mean time we hope to finish the preparations for
refugees to be able to be moved to Murilo.

Again my apologies,
I look forward to your reply.

Sir Firmus Piett

I am just contacting you to inform you that our people
have come to a conclusion.

Having tested the capabilities of the Liner we bought
cheaply we have decided to invest in a further two
liners and we will have them refitted to transport
refugees.

The ships should be ready in the next couple of
days and hopefully Murilo should be able to take
refugees within the same time frame.

In the event that everything goes as planned we
should be ready to move our first convoy of refugees
in the next week. This convoy will be able to take
a total of 5,250 refugees all of which will be moved
to Murilo where they will be given roles within our
community.

Whilst their accommodation has been completed
and there is enough space for them to live happily
we will require their contribution.
To begin with life will be a little tough and your people
will be expected to do their best to pull their own
weight in their new home.

I hope this is acceptable.

To Colin O'Hanna,

I am happy to hear about the progress of the convoy project. As for the tough life the refugees will have to face in Murilo, it would be better for them considering the situation in Bretonia. I would like to repeat what I stated last time - that most of our population is currently rising to fight the Gallic invasion. These people wont leave their home but will die to protect it at all cost.
Still there are people looking for a step that will change their lifes. We cant hold them here, thats why you can lay down a hand for such men.

You may proceed forward with the project and notify me once the first wave of refugees gave an opinion about Murilo. Our goverment would like to pay attention if the people are happy there.

Greetings Admiral

I am contacting you to inform you of our Convoy
leaving Planet Leeds tomorrow at 6PM GMT: the
convoy will consist of Three Liners and as many
escorts as we can spare. Their route will take
them from Leeds via London and Dublin to Omega
49.

From there we will jump the entire Convoy to the
Omicrons safely avoiding any potential hostiles
that might try and Intervene with our efforts.
