Just about a fair share of bad luck.... - Eternal - 05-27-2008

"This is getting ridiculas...." - the third day just slid by and now was the morning of the fourth.A death by starvation was one of the worsed ways she imagined to die , but there were far worse. She didn't want to think about those. At this point , her young body was depleded and starvation and thirst were her main enemies. It was just what "it" wanted. She looked at her arm ..

"I'm going to loose control soon..." - That was a...horrible scenario. Something that she prefered death over. Now it was just a matter of endurance. Mirage decided to put all her mental strenght into containing her arm.It was not of much use.Without her medicine , if someone could call it that , she knew that it's not possible , but still it was better then nothing.

Her arm started disobeying her again.

She was weak and at this point , close to pathetic.Perhaps it was true. She knew it , she was aware of it , but she never realy beleived that she was going to be let here to rot by her Order comrades.

"Give them what they want.." - A very anoying though ran thrue her mind.It was quickly surpessed by her.Even if she was to die here , no information would leak from her.No matter what ... there will be no more stains on the De'Brelakorsa name.Anyway..

"..I'm probly too weak to anwer them..." - sleep helped her concentrate. It was hard to sleep do. The "bed" , was just a large metal plate. The fact that it wasn't soft didn't bother her...but it was cold...cold as ice. Her body was getting sick , making her even weaker.

"- What a pathetic end..." - She tough.

Captain Anobi was currently walking towards the cell, he had his Navy Uniform on, his blonde hair hidden mostly underneath a cap that resembles that sea-fareing captains wore on naval ships during the days of Earth, his icey-blue eyes scanned the cell, he had connections with the LSF and managed to get a temporary pass to try to get information, his cold eyes gazed at the cell door for a moment before entering, what he saw was a pitiful sight, a young woman was apparently being starved to death by the LSF, most likely one of the information extracting tactics, he stepped inside and shut the door behind him, keeping a fair distance away from her just incase she tried anything.

He kept a tight reign on his feelings of pity and stared with the emotions of a block of ice, his voice when he did speak was soft and hinted of slight damage to the vocal cords, a gift from his last encounter with the Nomads within Zone 21, the doctors had assured him it would eventually heal but he had his doubts.

"I see my LSF counterparts have been making your stay...interseting." he softly yet seemingly casually stated, leaning against the wall beside the cell door, his arms folded across one-another.

"You are truely alone, your friends in the Order have abandoned you, your starving, weak and most likely die by the end of the day, perhaps tomarrow if your lucky...Or unlucky." he stated coldly, gazing at her with an intensity brighter than the New York sun.

"Why do you defend those who would abandon you and leave you for the wolves?" he questioned, mostly to himself...

Her reactions weren't as fast as they used to be.Just moments ago , the door opened and someone started talking to her.It was disturbing her meditation. And her arm could loose control again. It was strange do...all the previus LSF agents were entering , talking to her and then leaving. This one stayed here.Well , it wasn't much m but aleast Mirage could keep her thoughts busy with this new person here.He didn't have a killer face , he didn't look LSF.What is he then ? Why did he care what she knew?

" -Ah..well..I better find out by myself" - she tough. Mirage tried to stand up.But her leggs weren't listening to her and fell down. The man tried to get close and help her get up but...

" - Don't! " - she said.Her pale face turned abit red. " - I don't need pity."

It was harded then she tough to get back on the bed.But but after a few seconds she was on it.Keeping her cold stare and voice was abit hard now and if she was going to die here , it didn't matter how she sounded or looked.

"And how..*cought*cought*..do you know who will come and who wont ? "

A slight pause was made.

"You don't even have the slightest idea of who I am or what I do. All you know is how to starve people to death."

Her arm started disobeying her again.Talking , had made her loose her concetration.

"You...you aren't LSF are you? What do you want from me then?"

walks back into the cell on the 4th day and meets with captian anobi and leans against the other wall looking straight at the girl "is this worth it " i asked her "is the order really worth this " she seemed to look at me in shock as i showed my concerned look...

"come on i have to believe your more importent to the order and i have a sneaky suspicious your a higher ranked officer than we think as most pilots would have given us what we want by now" i paused to see her reaction but it seemed she was to weak to respond...

i continued " also if you are a higher ranked officer then why have the order left you here to rot" "there has been no attemps on breaking you out, no attemps to negotiate your release" i stopped and looked at her as she managed to look up at me her eyes telling the story that she sort of believed what i said as if she had thought the same thing "infact your fellow order dont really seem bothered that you are here"..

"so why should you give them the honour of dying for them if they arnt bothered" i then pulled out a piece of paper out of my pocket "plus our intelligence have found out who you really are" i paused to see her reaction but she just sat there not letting on to her feelings "its so nice to know we have captured admiral mirage" i looked at her but she was looking at the floor..

"well now we know who you are, it begs the question why isnt the order making a full on attack to retrieve you" i looked at her and i saw her arm twitching madly "whats wrong with your arm girl" i asked her and waited for a answer...

.....Rear Admiral Malacos hurried to the landing pads where Sasha, his apprentice called him. A recent fight with the "Order spies" has kept them quite busy, but now there were more important things to take care of. Sasha greeted his mentor.

-"I think we're loosing her, we need to move now."

..... Sius agreed. There were more than enough Order ships to fight the Nomad-infested spies. And their allies were to help as well.

-"Right, we can't wait anymore. Get everyone you can, assemble a small strike force. You know what? Call Mira, it's about time he proved himself as an Admiral as well. We're leaving for Alaska once his ship is ready in space."

.....Sasha bowed and left running. Mirage had saved them both before from a fairbanks and now it was time to return the favor...

Mathew merely gave a cold chuckle when she figured out he was not LSF, he answered in that same soft damaged voice which now hinted at slight mirth and yet still manage to retain that cold feeling, nodding to Mave before focusing back on her.

"Your correct, i am not LSF, i am Southern Alliance, and your alone in the viper's pit." he whispered before letting his compatriot speak to her.

He was mildly suprised when he revealed that she was apparently some Admiral in the Order, but when he mentioned her arm he immediately looked at it and raised an eyebrow...Facinating...

" - Seems they are not so stupid after all." - She tought. It is more then surtain that the infested supiriors to the LSF have provided there minions with the nesecary information about her.Now that the curtain was lifted , there was little she could do to deny the truth. Her arm was getting worse by the minute and they were starting to notice it.Her body was weak and now the symbiod could take the upper hand.Something she would alow to happen , but at this point she could do little to stop it.

" - Maby I can use that..." - A freash idea was storming her tired mind.

" - Whats ..*cought*..wrong with my arm ? Nothing at all. - The arm started moving and it was easy to see she didn't control the movements. That only lasted a second , after that it was calm again.

" - You are S .. *cough*..A you say? " - She turned to face the other man in the room.It was getting crowded. " I though I smelled the stench a navy dog here..aahaha *cought*... I see the LSF have reached new depts of disgrace. And what does the Navy want with me ? "

-= Onboard the Au'Rora =-

"- What do you mean we can't take action ? " - the vice-admiral was bright-red in colour.

" - She is our commander , we have every right to come to her aid! This is unbelievable ! "

" - I'm sorry , sir. But I have my orders and they are clear. The Black Squadron has taken command of everything in that matter."

" - I though they were just a rumor ? What is this , a joke ? "

" - That all I can say , sir. This ship will remain in "Korperoto" dry dock , until further notice."

"so i see you dont care about yourself , maybe i should take a different approach" i paused " i have a suprise for your.... GAURDS Bring him in"... the door opened and the gaurds brought in another order pilot..

"lets see how much you can stand of someone else's pain" i looked at her and then the gaurds "take his clothes off guard and hold him" one officer held him as the other stripped him "now tell us what we want to know " i looked at her and her face was in a state of shock as if she couldnt believe what she was seeing.

"your not going to tell us anything ok.. maybe this will change your mind" with these words i took my knife from its holder and placed it on the other weak order pilot and with one quick sharp swipe i cut his leg open and the blood started to trickle down his legs "nice shallow cuts to keep him with us so the pain is evil"

i looked at the girl and i saw that this bothered her "now talk or you know what will happen" "no ok" i took the knife and made a long shallow cut across his stomach" i looked at her "actually get two more gaurds in here and chain her to the bed cause that arm moving on its own looks suspicious .. so she can watch but not do anything" with this order to other guards entered and chained her hands and feet to the bed so she was helpless and could do nothing to stop the pain which was being inflicted on her fellow order pilot...

"come on give us what we want to hear or there will be no end and he will bleed to death".... "guards chain him to this chair in the corner so he cant move or stop the bleeding" i left the room for a refreshment in the command center while the prisoner watched as blood started to gather below the chair but as i left i said " time is running out for your friend" and i left the room...

i told the guards "fetch me or agent mike.edwards if she wants to co-operate" "yes sir" said the guards...

The chains were strong.Even at her current state the symbiot-implant should have been able to easily brake the chains. But her starvation and dehydratation were taking their toll on it too and she was loosing control over it.The man infront of her looked like he had spend more then a mount here. Not a very pleasent sight to look at.But it didn't matter , he was dead already. The man's weak body had nothing to do to save the man and with those wounds he would probly die in a matter of minutes. Mirage still had partial control over her emotions. But it was more then clear that the Order's view of these people was horribly wrong. Her entire carrier she was told and lectured that the nomad infected supiriors were the couse of the evil and tirrany that took place in places like this. But they were wrong , the people themselves were evil and to think that another human being could use such methots to get what they want...was beyond her understandings of human psychology. If not anything , atleast that act gave her a powerfull motivation to survive this hell - revenge.

" - You are not human. Your just a pathetic little man that abuses his power." - she strained the chains but they didn't give up. " - In the end , no matter what happens to me , we will triump and rid the world of the evil that has taken human form here."

The two men were now staring at 'er. She knew that she couldn't alow herself to loose grip of her emotions. But this was simply going too far , even for those dogs. All she was thinking of now was blasting this prison into space dust with a M-100 Neutron Star killer , but that was very unlikely to happen , at this point that is.

This was wrong...His frown said it all.

Torture? Threats? Was this truely what the LSF did to get information?

Sighing he took off his cap as Mave left, leaving orders to the guards, he shook his head slightly at the dying man, Liberty did not stand for murder...This...was not human.

He could do nothing however, for the LSF were authorized to do such acts to protect Liberty as a whole...No matter how much he dispised torture...His hands clenched so tightly that blood started to drip from cuts in his palms, hitting the floor silently.

Forcing himself to remain calm he merely wiped his hands on the pantlegs and put his cap back on his head, he turned back to her and nodded very slightly.

"Yes, there is evil here...However evil is within all of us..." leaning over he whispered even softer, just loud enough for her to hear.

"Even within the Order's own people...You people have caused Liberty and the colonies many pains, murder, associating with pirates, fighting Liberty Forces within Alaska...If he is evil, than so are both of us." he whispered before leaning back against the wall...Trying to ignore the dying man that the LSF had brought in...
